Came here for a late lunch, and Im glad that they dont close in the afternoon. Normally, a lot of Japanese places are closed after 2PM, but this one remained opened. The sushi chef, however, is on break 3PM-4PM, so you wont be able to order any sushi or hand rolls at that time. The ramen is basically build your own ramen. You choose the size, the topping and the spiciness level. Depending on the day of the week, you get a different free topping. The large bowl was $9. Honestly, it is a bit pricey for ramen that doesnt come with many toppings. I advise you to add more toppings on your own on the side, but of course that is extra $$. The broth was good though. And they do give big pieces of Chashu, which was what I ordered. Overall, no complaints. I enjoyed my meal, and I would come back.

My absolute favorite coffee in the world. I dont know how they do it, but their espresso is so smooth and without the burnt bitter flavor you can get at other places. Just perfectly roasted goodness. Any chance I get to have blue bottle I take it, even if that means going out of my way and waiting in line in the street. Just heard theyre pairing up with Tartine, should be an interesting combination and am looking forward to even better (if thats really possible because their current ones are delightful already) baked goods.

New location for Kopan Raman, located in a shopping plaza that has plenty of free parking . food came out fast and fresh. Very simple menu which is pretty good, they also serve sushi rolls which is another plus for those not in the mood for ramen. I order the small ramen with chashu . Was a bit disappointed they only gave one slice, and our other order came with two slices . The soup base was very flavorful though, which makes this one of my favorite ramen places .

Ramen is okay. The soup is a bit salty. Service is horrible! It takes forever to get to the table. Servers are no where to be found. I had to track down my own fork. New item:. Poke bowl. 4 items for $11.95. In my opinion, Poke Craze makes it WAY better. Fish is okay, the sauce needs a bit of work. They started the ramen point card again. Note that you CANNOT combine your cards together.

Ive had multiple dishes there from Ramen to Sushi to their Lunchboxes the lunch boxes and sushi are wonderful and full of flavor Im disappointed by the noodles they use for ramen but their soup is very rich the only thing Id recommend you never ever try is the Yakisoba, which is supposed to be fried noodles instead it came as two deep fried sticks of batter with noodles wrapped around it

This place is delicious. They have a different free toping for each day of the week. The portion of the ramen is medium sized. I dont get too full from one bowl. The quality of the ramen is consistent. Friendly staff, and comfy environment to enjoy your food. This is definitely one of my favorite ramen places in the area and one of my go-to places whenever I crave ramen.

Good service. Noodles were very tasty, although a bit more like spaghetti than ramen. Soup has good flavor but is a bit different than your average ramen. It is creamier, for lack of a better word. I had the red miso ramen, very tasty. We visited very close to closing. I want to go back soon, earlier in the evening, and compare. I think the soup will be even better.

a very big problem with this place, when you go out to eat with someone your thinking eat together,we 0rder together, they bring thr food out 10 min apart, we say something to what we thing is a represenative of nikos and we get an excuse maker, the lady was very rude and would interupt me as i was talking, then did nothing to make things right

a bit expensive if you compare it with foo foo ting. food itself its alright, nothing too special. (I ordered 1st specialty ramen on the menu). ordered taroyaki on the side for lunch. was ok as well (preferred outside crispier). wouldnt recommend if youre first time to LA. only if you live here and want something new to try. good location.

We go to this place A LOT. VERY Friendly staff. Their Ramen is the best. We keep on trying various places in LA but find ourselves always comparing them to Kopan. They do only one type of broth - Tonkatsu - and I guess thats why they do it really well. The Tonkatsu broth at rakiraki ramen is also good but Kopan is still better.

Very disappointing. I love Kopan Ramen in Fullerton and was excited to see one near my neighborhood but unfortunately it just isnt the same. Their ramen tasted more pre-made and just warmed up. Chashu was partially frozen and the broth tasted too milky. I guess I still have to drive to Fullerton to get some decent ramen.

We tried this place for a quick dinner. I loved my salmon and beef teriyaki combo but I was not found of the ramen. The salad and the sushi that comes in the combo were very fresh and flavorful. The crew is very friendly with good taste in music. Place is sparkling clean and there are many parking spots available.

The broth of the ramen was extremely flavorful almost creamy. Ordered an egg on the side and it was perfectly cooked. Soft boiled egg. The yolk was surprisingly seasoned and added an additional flavor to the ramen. Ordered it as a mild and that had some heat to the broth. Makes you warm and definitely tolerable.

The ramen noodles here are a little thicker and straighter than those served at other places, which I enjoyed. I felt their cuts of meat where too thick though for my liking. Also, beware of the center table at the back of the restaurant, which gets a draft because the staff leaves the backdoor open.

Excellent restaurant design, very trendy with great music! Had their spicy Ramen and it made me sweat! Also had the baby octopus and shrimp tempura, other were presented well and tasted great. Washed it down i with four dollar drafts of sapporo. Will definitely be back.

Food took forever & it was okay, that chicken as extremely chewy & the fried chicken was tasteless. Kept trying to get the servers attention, any of the servers attention & couldnt get anybodys attention. Probably never going back here again.

High quality meals, but much smaller portion then expected (I eat quite a bit to their credit) there isnt a single server taking care of you but its a team effort. The ramen is quite tasty and there sushi tastes fresh, enjoy.

The variety of ramen is pretty small here, and it seems there is only one type of ramen soup. The portion is small even for a "large size", and comes with only one type of thin slim noodles. Chashu tastes bland too...

Got the chashu ramen spicy, it was really good but not quite spicy enough so I added more hot sauce. Nice clean place, reasonably priced and they have saporo on draft. I would come back again.
