Ajisen won my heart by their dank and VERY good Ramen! Which actually is the only good thing about this place! First, their customer service SUCKS, they cant get a to go order correct, and the wait times are too long for how busy they ARENT. Ive done pick up orders in the past and they dont label the soups so when I pick up more than 3 different soups I have to guess which they are. I have done Door Dash and EVERY SINGLE TIME I put something in the "special notes" its not there. LOL SOOOO the last time I called in before hand during the morning (so you would think its slower) and told JENNY over the phone my issue of my order being wrong using door dash every single time, I asked her what the best way to communicate with you my special notes and her advice to us to make sure my order, ONCE AGAIN, would be wrong. Her advice was to include it in the special notes...... which is what I do everytime... she pretty much gave me the advice of "well if its not there you SOL" JENNY is rude, not helpful, a liar, and has the worst customer service. She told me she did not have a manger on duty and then changed her answer to "Im not sure who it is because we just had a shift change." I like this place for the soup, and I would hate to see them shut down just like Guppy House because they have the shittiest service!!! Hire harder workers Ajisen

So legit you will probably make a mess is youve never used chopsticks - the tomato udon chicken came with a spoon so big and deep I shouldve YouTube-d how to use it. The food was good and the staff was polite. There is usually a wait here but we beat the noon rush so we didnt have to wait more than 5min. WARNING- There is parking available since this place shares the lot with the H Mart. BUT pedestrians can be tough obstacles to navigate because theres a lot of people coming and going from all directions. I would definitely come here again but Id spend some time watching other people to learn how to eat the food - like I said the spoon is huge, the bowl is deep, the mango juice drink was filled to the brim....

The food is just okay here. They got a cute mascot in the front happily eating her ramen but to me I think the ramen is unmemorable.. Im not a big fan of the ramen because the soup isnt as strong as other ramen places Ive been to. Its not bad but its not great. Plus the soup isnt super hot when you get it. The noodles arent that yummy. It just doesnt have that egg noodle taste I love. Im not sure what it is... The pork and bamboo is pretty average. The pork doesnt have that thin layer of fat to give it that nice texture. Their ahi tuna appetizer was so so. It was a bit mushy though. I dont think its suppose to be mushy. The baby octopus was fine. They give you quite a bit in the small bowl.

So far this is the best ramen shop i have eaten in this area to date. Decor is semi upscale and comfortable. The shop generally absorbs sound well, so even if the place is full its generally quiet. Service is excellent, especially for a ramen shop. They also offer a Carry Out option for people who are in a hurry. That maybe good because its the only ramen shop i have been to that offers that, however i have never experienced that part of the service. I find myself pairing a meal from here with a dessert from 85°c seeing as though they are just walking distant from eachother. Overall, i think i will spend more time at this ramen shop more than the others i Have rated.

For Ramen, theres no other place my wife would rather go. They have a spicy beef ramen that my wife loves and then they have a peanut sauce ramen called Tam-Tam (hopefully Im spelling that correctly) that I love. On the downside, tons of other people love this place, so its typically crowded and there can be long wait times to get seated and order. Also, be aware that the parking lot is a little crazy here. You can always find parking if you circle a bit, but plan on it taking you a while to find something and youre likely going to need to walk a bit.

The noodles tasted like they just put pasta in broth. While the broth and sides were good, the noodles just killed it for me. Not authentic at all. Furthermore, on one of the vegetables they left the sicker on it and put it into the ramen! They were kind enough to take it off the bill, but still, this is not a mistake that they should be making. The waitress was okay but was a little slow and took her time to help us when we called. Besides the noodles, the service and the sticker, the restraunt was quite good.

I went in for carryout ramen on a very cold and rainy day. I was told it would take 15 minutes. I got distracted on my smart phone and before I knew it, 30 minutes had passed. When I checked in with them, they had lost my order. I decided to just eat there because I was really hungry. Ive worked in restaurants so I can overlook a lost ticket but then the food was bad. I got the tomato beef ramen...the noodles were like cheap spaghetti noodles and the broth tasted like tomato soup.

I have been eating here consecutively for the past few weeks. Today I wasnt feeling so hungry so I asked to order a kids meal. They refused my request saying its a "policy" that you must be under 12. Ive gotten kids meals at other restaurants with no problem. I was quite offended and am considering never returning. Is it really worth it to them to lose a customer over a silly policy? Food is good, not sure I feel so good about the staff.

I have tasted and tested many ramen places in California, Illinois, and Japan and this place is still my favorite place. The broth here is amazing. The noodle is fresh and made from scratch. The broth is the right amount of savory. This place is located in a very busy plaza, so parking is very challenging and there is always a wait for service. The wait staff is okay, service is not extraordinary, but the food more than makes up for it.

This restaurant have really good Noodle based food. They have special TO-Go menu. One of their favorites is "Ajisen Best Combo Ramen". Sometimes there is a line to take a table specially during weekend dinner time, so keep that in mind that you may have to wait for a table. During weekends they open till late around 11PM and staff is friendly. Kids and Family Friendly place. Located at Diamond Jamboree, Irvine CA.

This place has OK ramen. Their gyoza is OK too. The food here is very mediocre. In any case, what really bothered me was the price. Dinner for 4 came out to about $100 for 4 ramens and a couple of appetizers. Its a bit much for mediocre noodles. Service is OK. Come to think of it, its remarkable how unremarkable this place is in all aspects, except for the price.
