My family comes here all the time before their shopping excursions to Chinatown however Ive only been here a few times. Parking can be a pain here with a weird entrance that is narrow and at an angle. Pricing, however, is decently cheap for the food you get. The staples are all good Cantonese pronunciation- - Ha Gow (Shrimp Balls) - Sieu Mai ( Pork/Shrimp Balls) - Ha Cheung Fun (Shrimp Rice Rolls) - Feng Zhau (Braised Chicken Feet or "Phoenix Talons") - Bac Feng Zhau (White Chicken Feet) - Zhu Hong (Cubed Porks Blood) - Bolo Bao (Pineapple Bun) There is also Curry Stewed Squid, Tofu Fa (sweet tofu), and lots of other options. My favorite at dim sum places is the Almond Pastry Dish. I have no idea what its called in English. But its a white ceramic tall bowl of almond dessert liquid with nuts in it, and a pastry is baked on top so it looks like a baked chefs hat. You will have to order this 20 minutes in advance as they dont walk around with it. Overall, yum!

This review geared towards the dim sum not anything on the menu. This was my first dim sum experience so I actually really didnt know what I was getting myself into. The restaurant looks like a large banquet style dining hall. It was like having deja vu going to the most unusual Cantonese wedding. There are little ladies driving around dim sum carts which are pretty similar to airplane stewardess carts. They all had these mouth guards on which was a clear version on Banes respirator. None of the little dim sum ladies speak english so expect to get a lot of nodding and no answer on what you are about to eat. It was a fun experience. The dim sum was not bad. From what I could make out we had lobster, oyster, scallops, lots of shrimp, pork (which I did not have, dietary restrictions) and some seaweed. It has intrigued me to try another dim sum place to compare to but for now my review stays as is.

We went to this place on Sunday for Dim Sum and quite to the contrary, we did not encounter what some of the early reviewers mentioning here. First, we were able to find easy parking within their lot (on the side). The wait was about 25 minutes which was understandable for a Sunday. Most of their tables are geared to seat a group of no less than six people and they have a small number of tables for two people or less. The food carts passed by us and we picked what we wanted. There was no shortage of food carts. The quality of the Dim Sum was good. We tried some things that we did not know what they were, other than they looked good -- and they tasted delicious. By the way for those that are curious, we are NOT Asians and we live in Santa Monica. Overall, a good experience at reasonable prices....

Despicable Restaurant! A huge sign in front of the restaurant, "Food to Go." But when I walked in, the Chinese man stared at me like he just got out of jail and would not greet me or ask me a thing. I was the only customer waiting in front of this angry staff to ask me. I told him that I wanted to buy food. He shouted at me, "All the food are sold out to banquet parties inside the restaurant." They valued banquet parties better than Food-to-Go customers. It is a false advertisement, "Food to Go," as there was no food to sell. Their "Food to Go" is deceiving. They should take down their sign, "Food to Go." I will never go back again, neither would my family and friends. Strongly NOT recommend!

People are being way too hard on this place. Although, Ive never been there for anything else but the Dim Sum there, it is the best Ive tried by FAR (if you have a better one please let me know!...Im not being rude I just really like dim sum and just moved here). Since moving here in October Ive tried about 5 of the biggest dim sum restaurants that people have recommended and I love this one the best. Ive gone here almost every week since I discovered it. They have a very VERY wide selection of dim sum dishes. I am still looking for one that is better, please let me know. Be prepared to wait 30-45 min if you come for lunch on the weekends.

This is a super popular place to get dimsum. While there might be a wait, the place is also quite huge, so the wait doesnt seem like that long. They have the traditional dimsum food here, so you can get your fill. Luckily the parking lot is large too, so you should be able to find parking there, if not on the street or around the other side of the plaza. This is a popular venue for weddings as well. Their evening cuisine is traditional Cantonese food.

We havent been to this restaurant in years, decided to give it a second chance, and it was a mistake. Service was rude as in most other Chinese restaurants . We ordered a vermicelli Singapore style dish and there were fish bones in it ! Told the manager about it. He apologized and didnt do anything . Anyway, the rice noodle dish was very bland and definitely not up to expectations. We will not come to this place anymore.

Very greedy and deceptive!!!!!! My friend and I had 4 plates of dim sum and one plate of veggie, they tried to over charged me $27+. when I questioned the charges, the guy immediately (without any thought or calculation) "Oh, there is a mistake, I will fix it for you!" Then he changed the price to $20! These guys are the greediest people Ive met!!!! Stay away from these guys if you dont want to get robbed!!!!

Do not pay by your debit card. Theyll rip you off if you dont check your bank account regularly. I took my wife and kid out for Sat morning breakfast and few days later I checked my bank account. They charged my bill to $30 instead $23 and some cents with 2 dollar gratitude. I would never take my family to this restaurant again. What a rip off chinese restaurant.

The food here is great. Well either that or it might have been because I was so hungry from the long wait in line. Either way, the food was good and the service was well.... Lets just say that it is exactly what you get at any dim sum place....ans that is why I could it give it the last star. Btw, the siu mai and the chili sauce is a must try

The food was good. Got there at about 1pm and we were limited to shrimp, pork, and some beef dishes because they were out. They stopped coming around at 2:15. Majority of the workers had limited English so we didnt really know what we were eating except that it was pork, shrimp, or beef. It seemed to be the typical dim sum dishes.

Food tastes good, excellent French steak dish. Service from the waiters disappeared after the fried rice showed up. This was a banquet with over 15 tables and cannot get service. They left to go boxes on a side table for self-service. If we pay over $500 per table, service needs TP be on par with the price paid.

If youre from this area, you will most likely have been here for a wedding. This restaurant is considered a wedding factory. It doesnt mean its bad. You can throw a pretty big wedding about 500 people for roughly $5000. That is a DEAL! Parking is horrible but just keep at it and youll find something.
