I have been eating at Hunan Kitchen since at least 1996 and I have never been disappointed. The fact that this place has been open for so long says something. We fondly call this place "Cheapy Chinese" due to the great prices. Over the years I have got many friends and family hooked on this place. My nephews are die hard Panda Express fans, and they now prefer Hunan Kitchen when they visit. We especially like their Sesame Chicken, Orange Chicken, Pork Fried Rice and Sweet and Sour Chicken. The Sweet and Sour Chicken is just what it should be - lots of delicious breading and the sauce does not go on until they plate it so it does not get soggy. The Sesame Chicken on the other hand is floating in its sauce and it is wonderful that way. As to the review that states their food is greasy and all veggies - I cannot account for every dish, but the Sesame Chicken and Orange Chicken are solely meat. I dont think their food is overly greasy, but after all it is Chinese food and that pretty much means fried food. The portions are also large - we generally get a two item combo to share and still have a little left over. They also give us half Fried Rice and half Chow Mein to suit our tastes.

Esta es la comida China mas fea que he comido, muy grasosa y con un sabor horrible... Y aparte de eso cuando me dieron mi orden solo tenia la comida y le tuve que pedir el tenedor y servilletas y salsas... Lo unico bueno que hicieron fue que cuando me dio el recibo para que lo firmara me lo detuvo porque yo tenia mi bebe de 4 meses en mi brazo izquierdo... bueno esta fue mi experiencia yo pensaba que estaba buena la comida por los buenos comentarios que tienen en su página.

I dont know but Roger is completely wrong. A friend told us about this one day and my wife and I have not gone anywhere else for Chinese food. It is very good tasting and the helpings are really good. It is also really cheap for really good food. I have had about half of the different items on their menu and I dont know which one I prefer I always get something different cause it all tastes good and I have yet to be dissapointed at all in the food or their service. Very friendly and happy staff. It is also really fast to get your food and get out which is nice if you are doing it for lunch.

Amazing its like your actually in china town eating chinese food. Not to mention the kindness they served me with and the best part its cheap and they give u a good portion of food very good place to go for chinese food

Gross. You will pay $7.00 for greasy food. Almost all veggies. Very little meat. $7.00 for greasy veggies. About 50 cents worth of food and little meat in grease. Dont waste your money.
