Very impressed. I have been to many Chinese restaurants but this was definitely one of the best. The portions were large and every one of them delicious. I was with a large party so we shared the entrees which included Vegetable Lo Mein, Chicken Lo Mein, Orange Chicken (absolutely LOVED this), General Tsos (maybe a little overcooked), Pork Fried Rice, Beef and Broccoli and Spring Rolls. To top it off, the bill for my family was only $32 for 3 entrees and an appetizer (no drinks). The server was very helpful and was honest telling us that with the large portion sizes, we could share entrees or especially the combination plates. He wasnt trying to upsell and increase our bills.

My family and I go here all the time (as in once every 2 weeks or so) for their dim sum as well as their honey walnut shrimp. Its fair priced, delicious, and of good quality. Weve never had an issue with service either. Theyre quick, kind, and the restaurant always seems to be open no matter the weather - we came during one of the snow storms this past winter when there was about 6/7 inches of snow on the ground. They were open the whole day and we werent the only crazy customers in there that day either. It was like business as usual. So you know theyre good.

The original Sandy Blvd location used to have excellent food, wait staff, and bar. The new location on 122nd Avenue does not have the same level of service, food quality or quantity so it lost a star in my estimation. Full Chinese menu with american fare available also. The broccoli beef, sweet and sour chicken remain as good as for. Not a place to visit for dim sum. Ample parking but not easy to spot or get into quickly when heading North on 122nd Ave.

Ive only had takeout but the inside seemed nice and the staff are very friendly. Food was always ready for pickup within a minute of the time they stated and always fresh out of the kitchen. Great selection and pretty good no-frills food. Im only giving 3 stars because they didnt blow anything out of the water but they definitely havent done anything poorly either and Id recommend them to anyone looking for reliable Chinese takeout in a heartbeat.

The decor is nothing to get excited about. The building was a bank at one time as evidenced by the ginormous safe on one wall. This is presumably where recipes are kept. Service was quick and friendly. Very clean here. Chow mein, fried rice, egg drop soup all very good though sweet/sour chicken nothing more than bits of chicken deep fried w/sauce on the side. Meal comes with hot tea. $10 for lunch and more than I could eat.

I am so happy to see this place jump back to the same standards they had when it was located on Sandy Blvd. It is my favorite Asian food restaurant and the waitstaff is always helpful and friendly. Good drinks in the bar with a very friendly bartender. I truly like their Salt & Pepper Shrimp, along with their Mongolian chicken. Both excellent dishes. Their Dim Sum is very good and you can get it at any time.

Best American style Chinese Food Ive found in town so far! The service left allot to be desired, waitress never looked at me and kept stealing stuff from my table made me feel like I was in the way, but the food was good and came out quick. The General Taos was tasty and crisp stayed that way through the meal which almost never happens. Going to try it again see if the service was just an off day.

Pretty good Chinese option, though the location is a bit strange and can be hard to find if youre not looking. The interior is fine, nothing special but fine for a Chinese place. Lunch is where its at, excellent lunch options that are pretty hefty helpings. General tso chicken is where its at! The egg flower soup is also very good.

Typical mediocre Portland Chinese. Good service, okay food. Went for dinner. Reasonably priced. Perhaps Wongs King IS the only decent Chinese in Portland? Bummer. Id hoped for better after reading some of the reviews. I might try Good World again for dim sum, because its close, and because Im a sucker...

Cheap food and drinks! Hang out in the bar and have some strong srinks. It isnt hip or trendy atmosphere, but DANG IT IS GOOD. I always order something different, because everything is good! You wont go wrong! Love the bartender-he is always giving me a bad time. Love coming here with friends.

Great Chinese food! Vegetables were crisp and firm. Noodles were perfectly cooked. Multiple condiments to complement or spice up your dish. Fast service and nice people. Generous portions of food, no need for a buffet. Ill be back for sure.

I really like this restaurant, such great service. Interesting building, used to be a bank, they use the old vault as storage. They serve dim sum until close and they have such a wide variety. Definitely my favorite dim sum in portland

Small plates, quick bite, with hot tea and hot plate of soup. Over food quality is ok. Rice seemed to be very dry, for a Chinese restaurant it needs better then this. Yes I would come here again, hopefully it will turn out better :)

We have been search for a great Chinese Restaurant since we moved up here in 2010. We live in Vancouver and found Good World to be one of the best around. We are so glad we found you after you moved to your new location.

Ive been back in Portland for 7 years and gave up on Chinese but one day wandered into this unassuming place. The food is reasonable, the atmosphere is clean with comfortable booths, and the food was excellent

This is our go to Chinese food place. The food is prepared fresh daily and is some of the best around. Rhonda, the weekday bartender is awesome. Ask for a Rhonda island. Its our favorite.

Four words - Dim sum all day. Its good because its always cooked to order. The other Chinese items are good, as well. Im addition, they serve American style Chinese food at a good price.

I dont know why anyone would eat here. Its grease Bland crap. I would even consider it mediocre American style Chinese. Do yourself a favor, dont waste your time or money here.

There are two menus. The first is American Chinese, which I dont recommend. The second is the the dim sum menu, which I do recommend. Go for dim sum.

Their porridge was really good, fried rice was above average, and custard bun was great. Their turnip cake was a bit plain. Good service.
