Ive been a long time, loyal customer for at least 7 years and I can say the service & quality is declining. I ordered for take out & forgot to say no tomato (Im allergic), probably bc I order that dish all the time. When I called back they were very understanding & offered to make another dish free of charge. Great, thank you, happy customer! I drove back over & picked up my "no tomato" dish. I was starving at this point & started to dig in right when I got home, only to find there was still tomatoes in it, even though I made a big point about re-making it due to an allergy. I called them back & they said they would remake it, again. I drove back over ( this is about 1.5hrs later) to pick it up & they tried to charge me for this 3rd dish. Im disappointed that they would mess up the order & then ask me to pay for it. Im just hoping that I dont get sick from eating the food they told me was tomato free. Theres plenty of other good Thai around with better service.

If this landromat in my neighborhood is actually owned or even managed by the Thai restuarant then people BEWARE! I unfortunately have had to do my laundry there quite a few times becuase its closest to my house... One time I found a plastic surgical glove in the washer... Good thing I checked it before putting my clothes in... Another time I found wood chips in the washer... that would do well with some of my delicate fabrics! Another time the dryer killed 2 pairs of my underwear!!! Overall the "Landromat" as its titled is completely FILTHY and unkept... The people of the neighborhood deserve better! Now if it is owned or managed by the Thai restaurant then we must ask ourselves about how we think the kitchen of the Thai restaurant is in terms of cleanliness before you eat there? I read the review of the person who got food poisoning there... Dont wonder too long... cleanliness is definitely a factor!

Went here based on the reviews and figure they would have the traditional stuff we liked. Got the drunken noodles which had nice standard flavor and nice veggies but they were sparse. Teh chicken was a bit dry. The pad se ew was a disappointment, standard with only a few pieces of broccoli that may not have been fresh (they were not very crispy) and only 6 shrimp, which i paid an extra $1 for even. The flavor was a bit light and bland, other places I have gotten a bit more spice without going hot. Would likely not go here again. The noodle portions were nice though. I suggest Planet Thai near salmon creek or Thai orchid instead

We used to love this place (see old review below), but lately it seems like they have moved in the direction of most Mississippi places: smaller portions, higher prices, inconsistent quality. Catering to third wave gentrifiers has not been good for this previously dependable favorite. (2011, 5 Stars) With three Thai restaurants on Mississippi Avenue, it doesnt make much sense to go anywhere else. All the classic favorites. The Drunken Noodles are always awesome. The Crab fried rice is luxurious. The yellow curry is sweet and hot. Beware scoffing at the spiciness...they will give you green Thai peppers if you ask.

I live near here and wanted to try it. I only ordered the flaming beef for takeout. The service was fine. But the meal wasnt very interesting. The tastes of teriyaki was overpowering. There were also pineapple chunks floating around that didnt match the beef. There were also uncooked cabbage wedges in there too. I dont know if they tried to fix it up to soon, or it was supposed to be that way. There was a lot of beef, but by the end it was kinda gross. Its $11.95 I wish Id spent somewhere else. Might try other food some other time but wary.

Hours say open until 10 PM on Saturday, show up at 9:31 PM, our group is told that they stop seating at 9:30 PM, we contested but they refused to serve us. That sucked and Id call it poor service, but we gave this place another shot. Food was totally average. Also, side note: please notice how many anonymous 5 star reviews without descriptions were left 4-6 years ago by the anonymous name "A Google User". Seems to me theyve inflated their reviews.

I have eated Thai ALL over Portland and SERIOUSLY this is the best place. Other reviews talk of poor service but it is worth the wait. I always order the special Lemongrass Chicken Pad Thai (with peanut sauce on top) and it is truly a divine treat!!! ANY of the curries are WONDERFUL and appetizers are BIG yums! I cannot rave anymore than this but take my word for it, I am a foodie and this place will satisfy!

Fast, friendly, really good Thai for the price. Looks grubby on the outside but its very clean and nice inside. Nicest servers in town. If you are ordering a dish with tofu, order with "tofu and veggies" to get more veggies in your dish for no extra charge. When ordering to go, skip dishes with eggplant. They seem to get overcooked and a little mushy while steaming in the to go containers.

This place is awesone! The food is SO good and the portions are huge! Theyre fast, clean, and very friendly! They make everything exactly how you order it! They take the time to remember theyre customers! I went there enough that they knew who I was and what I wanted to order. If you call ahead, the food is always ready within the time frame they tell you!

Excellent little Thai diner on Mississippi Avenue. This was my first visit. My salad rolls were cool and my yellow curry hot and delicious, the server was quick and courteous. Not too busy at 12:30 PM, for this Tuesday lunch. Oh, and I got nothing but smiles when the serving staff spotted my Google Glass. #glass #googleglass #throughglass

Dont let the attached laundry throw you off -- this long-time staple on Mississippi Avenue will give you a solid meal of standard Thai fare. They have a couple special items you may not find elsewhere -- I recommend you try the pumpkin curry. Consistently a tasty, affordable meal from a friendly staff.

This place is my go-to thai joint in northeast. Go for the tom kha soup, and stay for the pad thai with lemongrass chicken and peanut sauce. Havent sat out there, but theyve got a new covered patio out back. Always fast and friendly service, great for take out as well.

I was disappointed with the quality of the food. We had chicken pad thai and pad see ew with beef. Both had little meat and little flavor. My mouth was very dry shortly afterward, probably due to high sodium content. Wont be able to dine here again :(

One of my favorite places to go for Thai during lunch at work. They seat and serve you quickly and are reasonably priced. Great choices that taste awesome. During the dry season, there is seating outside well. I highly recommend checking monsoon out.

They have pretty solid thai food. I really enjoy that the front half of the store is a laundry mat. I cant say that this food sticks out as being amazing, but its just typical, tasty thai food. For nice weather, they have some outdoor seating.
