King Wha uses quality ingredients and quality recipes, resulting in amazing food. Ive eaten half the things on the extensive menu and have yet to find one I wouldnt have again. Even things I dont particularly enjoy are done well here. Favorites are the sizzling fried rice soup, noodle soup, assorted fried rice, and mongolian beef. The prices look expensive, but the portions are big, so the cost is about the same as any other Chinese place but you get great food! I have their number programmed for voice-dial I come here so much. Ive introduced several friends to King Wha and am very, very thankful to the Anderson and Scholes families for insisting that I give this place a try many years ago.

Ive been eating here for nearly 30 years...the food is AMAZING and highly addictive! I take every out-of-towner I know to King Wha: IMHO its the best in ALL of Seattle. The same family has owned and operated the business all these years. Ive watched their kids grow up and now they are working there while going to college. You cant beat their daily lunch specials: enough food to take some home for dinner and only $6.25! You will not be disappointed with any dish on the menu...itll become your favorite restaurant on first bite. Try Mandarin Fried Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Cashew Chicken, Pot Stickers, and Hot n Sour Soup...your taste buds will love you 5ever!

It was kind of expensive. Ordered 3 orders of "fried" rice and some Egg Drop/flower soup and it was over $40. The fried rice didnt even taste like fried rice. It tasted like steamed rice that was steamed with peas and eggs. Wasnt really seasoned either. My fiancé basically described the fried rice as homemade rice made with the scraps in the fridge because you had no money to go get groceries. Not a bad taste. It didnt taste bad. But it wasnt special. It would have been delicious if that was the case in the described situation above. I dont think Ill be back though. The girls were very friendly though!

Sweet and sour pork was cold the sauce was not completely covering and it was so chewy that i couldnt eat some of it,it was just too hard. the soup was great but the shrimp in the shrimp fried rice was tough and chewy too. Normally they pack extra sweet and sour sauce. its sad this was my go to place. I would rather get a meal done right at fast food than pay 30$+ to get sub par food. this was take out, the in house dining is usually better but that seems to be slipping of late too. We had broccoli beef the last time and It had a bad odor (take out). Sorry King Wah This was my last time visiting.

I have been going to King Wha with my family and all of our friends for 25 years. Some of the staff has watched my kids grow into adults. My grand kids make the third generation going to the King. They love the babies. This is the kind of restaurant all others aspire to be. Amazing food, wonderful service and a very special owner. So whether there are two or twenty two people, do not hesitate to go to this restaurant. Thank you King Wha. PS - ask for the potstickers pan fried and drizzle with vinegar and soy sauce. My oh my.

I was told about King Wha 14 years ago (while vacationing more than 100 miles away) and it has been our familys favorite ever since! The Mongolian Beef and sizzling fried rice soup are second to none. We always have a wonderful experience at King Wha and we have dined there over 200 times. The food is excellent and the family owned business owners take pride in excellent service to boot. Dont miss out on one of Seattles best kept secrets, King Wha- I promise you will not be disappointed.

This place had poor quality food and presentation. Bland and overpriced the tofu was gross and tasted like it had been cooked in chicken fat. The hong kong noodles looked like I could buy them at Safeway. I have had authentic good Hong Kong chow mein this is not it. Overall will never come back. Upset that I even ate here. Fried rice was poor quality and all the veggies tasted old and watery. Not worth the 25$ to eat. I didnt even finish either and I usually eat it all.

I travel all over the US and Canada! This is my Favorite! Try the Mandarin Fried Chicken, Orange Peel Beef, Mongolian Chicken, Green Bean Beef, Green Bean Chicken, Hot & Sour Soup, etc... No other place have I had consistently good dish after dish. I currently live 300 miles away, but I make it to King Wha at least four times per year. It is worth the trip. If you live closer, it will be worth it to you too. Plenty of free parking. Tell them Scott sent you.

My wife and I checked the business hours before arriving Google said they were open until 10 pm we arrived well before 9:30 only to find out they stop seating at 9 ok no problem they still offer to go , we place 2 orders of bbq pork fried rice , I think we are there in plenty of time for good service but the kitchen rushed our order and basically served us nasty white rice with a few vegetables thrown in . I can and do make better at home

Absolutely the worst chinese food Ive ever eaten. Straight out of the freezer, into the fryer. Then dump some flavorless canned gravy or sauce on top. Almond chicken? Just use crunchy wheat kibbles on top of white gravy, or whatever they were. Everything was disgusting. Even the fortune cookies were bad. I mean, we fully expected, and wanted, American style Chinese food, but this was the worst. Never again.

My husband, friends, family and I, have been coming here for over 20 years. It used to be our favorite hang out before kids, now it has become a place to celebrate birthdays or reunite with old friends. We like it because its consistently been the best Mandarin food weve found in the Seattle area. Our favorites are the Won Ton soup, Mandarin Chicken, Broccoli, Snow Peas and Mushrooms and Szechuan Beef.

I have had a lot of Chinese food but wanted to try a new place. If you are looking for fresh food and quality this place is not for you. This taste no different than Safeway Express. It was greasy and taste like frozen products are using. I will stick with Happy Garden which is one of the best places for fresh made to order Chinese food in Burien and staff are very much friendly there not like this
