Came here for Mothers day lunch. We were pleasantly greeted at the door. We opted for the buffet ($9.95) instead of menu items. We ordered some mango lassis to accompany our meals, which arrived as soon as we were done filing out plates from the buffet. Food it typical north Indian Punjabi food(Chicken tikka masala, spinach, daal, naan etc.) and was delicious. Very authentic as that’s what Punjabi food tastes like back in India. Hot naan (bread) were delivered directly to the table rather than being left in the serving dish at the buffet getting cold like at other Indian buffet places, and they kept bringing them throughout our meal. $9.95 buffet included appetizers (samosa, pakoras), salads, vegetarian dishes, meat dishes and desert. We did pay extra for chai after the meal to go with our free desert and it was very good also. There were about 7-8 eight families eating lunch at the same time, but the service was still quick. We will definitely come back.

Ive eaten at many of the Indian restaurants here in San Diego and Virsa will not disappoint! Owned by the same family that owns Urban India, Sher E Punjab, & other great Indian restaurants this place offers great veg and non veg options at a reasonable price. Great for large groups and parties too!! Their $9.95 lunch buffet is a superb bargain!

Excellent food and outstanding service by Gary! Love this restaurant! The people are so warm too! Five stars!!! My favorite Indian restaurant in San Diego, huge fan of this place - pls check it out! The buffet is great value for money - some of my favorites : samosas, baingan barta, tandoori chicken, butter chicken & paneer! Yum!!

Ordered takeout with Gobi Manchurian and chicken biryani. The Manchurian was just a mix of raw cauliflower and onions while the biryani had huge chunks of tomatoes in it. Avoid this place. Not Indian cuisine. Triple thumbs down

I enjoyed the buffet they had. It was reasonably priced. The food was good and I especially enjoyed their Garlic Naan. The service was only ok. I only noticed one server so things such as water refill was a bit slow.
