I am a traveler and like to boast about having travelled to quite a few places in the USA. To the best of my knowledge, some of the best and nearly authentic Indian restaurants are in New Jersey and the Bay area in California. On comparison with such restaurants, I would rate this restaurant nothing more than normal (3/5). However, it wouldnt be fair to do such a comparison. In the San Diego area though, this is one of the good Indian restaurants that I have been to and does a pretty decent job of keeping some, if not all of the cuisines authentic, particularly the south Indian ones which are relatively less represented in the US. For this, this restaurant deserves a 4 on 5 stars.

Its mainly an Indian food restaurant serving miniscule portions for unreasonable prices. Theyve tried to cater to everyone by expanding their menu to include deli sandwiches and other odd meals but everything thing is overpriced, undersized and I have yet to have an experience involving the kitchen here that ends in anything disappointment and resentment. Stick to the pre-packaged items; you will pay more than you should but at least the quality will meet the expected standards. I should also mention that I have never seen a buffet; either those reviewers dont understand the word or they are on the payroll.

Pretty bad experience for 3 out 4 times me and my family have been there. They call it a dosa night and serve small puri sized burned dosas with one small chunk of potato for $18. That too after wating for 10-15 mins for each round of what they call unlimited service and almost begging for it. The only waitress there let us in quickly and told us no ala carte service albeit she served some party the same who came after us. Utterly dissatisfied and never going there nobody should go there. Place is pretty understaffed and hope this review relieves them of some pressure.

The buffet include lots of choices and high priced for a buffet place. The biggest criticism i have about this place is too much salted curries. When i lived in India the lunch places always add salt to the rice (it seems you end up drinking a lot of water which keep your stomach filled thus eat less food). Is this restaurant trying the same old trick here? Shame on you! good things the dosa and the appetizers are delightful Chaotic environment, messy waiters and managers running around like chickens. If you like all these you may enjoy this place

They have pretty good food, but the problem is that they have terrible service. I came there after my basketball game, then my dad and I ordered our food, then half an hour later, another family comes in, they did not order any appetizers, then about 45 minutes later, their food comes out, then about 15 minutes later, my dad and I got our food. It took about an hour and a half to get our food.

I dont like the taste of every food. And when I eat there, my autism disorder can make it even much worse and it can make me throw tantrums. So, I prefer Pho Cow Cali, R&B, Manila Sunset, or any burger, pizza, or chicken restaurant instead. Im not trying to be racist on the food and the restaurants. And Im sorry that my review makes no sense.

This place was amazing when it first opened. Its too mainstream now. Short on staff, slow service, portions are smaller, drinks are served in to-go cups. Not impressed. They took forever to take our order and waited 30+ mins for our food. We were there for about 50mins and they checked on us once. Pros: theyre on grubhub now

Hubby always brings me here when Im craving Indian food. Its buffet style and if youre vegetarian they have a while section catered to you (10-15 entrees). If youre not vegetarian no worries theres just as many meat entrees as well. Food is absolutely amazing.

Great place for lunch, went with 26 people from work for the lunch buffet. Great selection of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian dishes. Food was very tasty and even the Indian people working for my company enjoy the food, so that has to say something.

Review about a catering order, very expensive for Indian food orders when compared to other vendors locally, No transparency in the pricing, before they tell the price for each food the staff went inside to check with the so called manager. Place looks good.

Amazing buffet lunch. They have a special vegetarian food island, and they will help you determine what vegan options they have (which was most of the items in the vegetarian section). I explored many new flavors when I ate here.

Food was good. Quantity is just perfect. We ordered food for 4 people and we had no leftover. Restaurant service is also good. Only downside was that Hot n sour soup ordered was very hot.

Loved this resturants food... it was a nice surprise to be here. Food is tasty, filling and rightly priced. Try the hyderabadi spicy dosa. It is true to its name :) recommend this place.

Great food, very delicious. For a proper Indian food with taste in it, adequate spices. We had the buffet lunch. Though its pricey but definitely worth it. Will come again.

This Indian place has spectacular food, including many varieties of paneer, naan, and phulka. This restaurant is preferred by many Indians, like me, so I know my sources.

Mixed Feeling. I had Very good experience for the first time. Second time, I had disappointment. On both day I went for "Dosa Night". I must say, over priced Reasturant.

Ok buffet but slightly expensive for the food. But lot more sweets than most other Indian buffets in San Diego. There is also an Indian grocery store right next to it

Ordered Hot & sour soup, taste was bad, less quantity for price. Had buffet lunch a month back, it was good compare to other restaurant in Mira Mesa.

Food is hit or a miss. There are some quality-consistency problems. Go for Indian-Chinese and South-Indian dishes here.

Great food and very good price! The only "drawback" is that its all you can eat, so it can be heavy for lunch haha
