Great food. Great service. Love their seafood selection. Try the fresh scallops in the shell loaded with garlic and rice noodles. Its worth the price. My family goes here almost every week because their food is so yummy and the friendly staff make the whole experience an enjoyable evening. I almost forgot about lunch. Yeah, dont forget to show up early to try their selection of dumplings and small plates with tea at lunch ("Yum Cha" in Cantonese). Its conveniently located at the Pacific East shopping center near the I-80. Highly-recommended for both lunch and dinner. Heck, stop in for lunch, go back to work, then stop in again for dinner. Best place to eat in Richmond !!

Ive been to this place for dim sum a lot. It is always very crowded over the weekend! the way takes at least 30 minutes to an hour! even for a table of 3. it gets kinda ridiculous lol. However, once youre seated. everything is good. well almost everything... the dim sum comes very quickly. and its usually really fresh. i love the egg custard bun with the liquidy custard! its delish! it is a little more expensive than other dim sum places, but the quality is definitely good. i just wish the wait wasnt so dang long! and the parking here also sucks! lol. but ill come back once in a while, when i want some good ol custard bun.

We came here because the review, but this was the worst dining experience I have ever had! One of the dishes we ordered was ignored at first. After we reminded them twice and waited for 30 minutes. the manager asked us if we still wanted. By then we were almost done. They did not even say sorry for messing up our order. Very bad attitude! Beside that, the manager was extremely rude. We saw him arguing with the customers with rude comments. We are not going back to this place!

Cool place for dim sum, but parking can be problematic. Staff here are plenty and pretty attentive. The dim sum lady comes by with variety pretty quickly and all their food are piping hot. Unlike some places that have the suckling pig and roast duck, this Asian Pearl didnt have any. Nonetheless their food quality is good. Some stuff I would stay away from is their sweet tofu dessert and their beef pieces. the sweet tofu had a powdery taste and the beef tasted a bit stale.

One of few dim sum restaurants in the area to serve good dim sum all day. It costs a slight premium, but its worth it. Its the kind of place a Chinese wedding reception would be held at. I love their runny custard buns, and pretty much all of their dumplings are tasty. Skip out on the xiao long bao -- thats the only thing Ive had there that they havent quite figured out yet. Otherwise, everything else is pretty solid.

A little more expensive than other Chinese food restaurants, but well worth it. Good Dim Sum (although they no longer have the carts), and great Peking Duck among other authentic dishes from a very large menu. Where else can you take your family or a date that has white linen tablecloths and uniformed waiters for these prices?

Whenever I crave for dimsum, this is the place to go! Im always full and satisfied after a visit there. They have a good selection. I like that the food tastes fresh and the prices are very reasonable. If you go on the weekend for brunch, I recommend being there before it opens. The queue can be long. My 5-star

one of the best dim sum and chinese restaurants in the bay area. it is definitely up there with my favorite dim sum spots, like HK lounge and koi palace. the one thing that makes asian pearl stand out is their mango mochi!! i always have to order this and it is always amazing.

“Great lunch location” Stunning location on the Bay. The Bay Trail is right there as well as the Rosie the Riveter Museum. The food is quite good, not super gourmet, but definitely enough variety to put them up in the topish tier.

This is actually one of the best family style Chinese restaurants in the bay area. People often rated lower because its very busy and doesnt have the best service but you dont go here for the service you go here for the food!

The food is great, the ambiance is charming, the service is excellent and the view is stunning, I had my birthday dinner here and everyone agreed the place is wonderful. I recommend Salute for great food and a wonderful time.

Would have left a better review but their parking lot is subject to break ins every night apparently. Food good mostly, but be prepared to have your chow mein served with a side of shattered glass. diner beware!

Long wait. Some dishes were really good, and others were "okay." the restaurant is still worth going to, but its probably a better bet to make the trip into SF if youre willing to spend the time and money.

The foods always been authentic and well made, even if the prices are above average. Yes, youll get your Chinese "service," but lets be frank and just expect that at a place catered to that clientele.

Been coming here for years, but recently, I think food quality is going down. The seafood has a nasty taste which maybe from the fish tanks they are kept in. Service is also hit or missed.

First time Id ventured on and I was very impressed. Super service and a large menu of dim sum and classic Chinese favorites. Looking forward to returning and trying more dishes.

Food is decent. Different flavor than Monterey park. Warning, filthy bathrooms with broken stalks and no paper towels or low on tp. Feels like Hong Kong..

Extensive dim sum selections and pricey special orders. Most of the dumplings are great, especially the shrimp with chives.
