more like AsianFail. I will say, all the cheap dining ware shipped in from asia is neat looking, though obviously cheap and even a little classless. I have to agree with the other 1 star reviews here, the 5 star reviews must be written by the owners/employees/investors. This place would get 3 star TOPS, if I was feeling generous, but after seeing how loaded the reviews are on this page it seems appropriate to rate 1 to help balance the reviews so that anyone actually looking for unbiased opinion, doesnt get the wrong idea about this place. I would HIGHLY recommend you try the super buffet just around the corner across from the cordata co-op instead of this place, at least all you can eat, you know what to expect, I often wondered what the point of fake reviews were. People go in, obviously dissapointed, never come back, but I guess if you can manage to keep a steady flow of unwitting new customers, you dont need repeat business, right?

I am big fan of the Asian 1 in Bellingham so when I went down to Burlington to do some shopping I stopped by the Asian 1 in Burlington for lunch. I really liked the feel of the restaurant when I walked in. I was greeted promptly and seated immediately. Honestly I was a little worried that this restaurant wouldnt be as good as the one in Bellingham after reading some of the review that where posted on this site but everything during my dinning experience was exceptional. I order my favorite cashew chicken and my boyfriend ordered the Mongolian beef. We were both very pleased to see that the quality of ingredients and flavor didnt miss a beat. Our server was attentive, pleasant and knowledgeable she suggested I try a Shiso Mojito which was amazing. This level of constancy and quality is why Asian 1 is one of my top picks when I go out to eat and what keeps me coming back.

Awful last experience. Have always loves the food, but the last time we went in, the host told us we had a 30-45 minute wait for a table for 4 and we were the only ones waiting. After we decided we would wait, she comes back and tells us that even once seated she couldnt guarantee that we would get our food for another maybe hour after we were seated. Very rude and unpleasant and she drove us away. It sort of seemed like that was her goal from the start. Anyway, as of now we will have no reason to return. Very sad to see this place go downhill.

I love this place. I have loved it before it even became Asian 1. Its great service. Great environment and FANTASTIC DELICIOUS food. I most of the time get the same thing. The Chicken Pad Tai, The crispy Asian chicken with nuts and broccoli. 2 sides of brown rice and side of peanut sauce extra because its so good. I love the chai teas and just really never regret eating here. EVER. 5star from this girl. Thank you Asian 1 for being so awesome. Its nice to know you can always count on the food and service to be top notch. :)

Sadly as bad as it was 8 years ago when I was last there and said I would not go back. I am Gluten Free and the Gluten Free Pad See U variation is bland sweet, anemic, tasteless noodles. Such a sad waste of money and I could only pick the broccoli out and a few pieces of chicken and had to quick attempting to eat it. It was a bad as the times before. Before I was GF the food was fine but I would not recommend them for any GF dishes. Really, can you not find a way to make it tasty and GF.

I went there yesterday, and I got 25% discount because it was around happy hour. The food was fantastic, awesome drinks, and the service was amazing!. The only thing I didnt like, even though they were fake, were the elephant tusks displayed in the entrance of the restaurant. We know that in real, people kill elephants to sell those tusks, and seeing them was like a reminder for this horrible thing. It would be better to see an elephant sculpture instead.

One of my absolute favorite places to eat. The Pad Thai is bomb! I especially like going in for lunch. They serve a nice amount with rice and salad. Its perfect. The waitstaff is okay. I cant say they are rude but they arent extremely friendly either. The tables are cool, look like dark wood. The chairs are not the most comfortable. This rating is based on the food alone. If they stepped up the customer service they could easily earn 5 stars.

Asian 1 has been one of my favorites until I took my sisters and brother there while they were visiting from out of town. I was embarrased that I had spoken so highly of the place! Servers were rude! Two tables that were seated after us, had their orders taken and served before anyone came and took our orders. I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps. The romaine lettuce was wilted! I wont go back and I apologized to my family!

Im somewhat amused by the one star reviews that say 5 stars must be fake. Try getting a table here at peak times = lots of folks waiting. Pretty busy most times, just no waiting. They have a sushi bar thats open certain days if the week. Its quite good. I like the place, my wife prefers others more, so I go here for lunch without her sometimes or get take out. I suggest their Tom Yum soup if you have a cold!

They werent that busy and had plenty of other staff. Our waitress walked by our table tons of times. I could see her chatting it up with other co workers. Terrible Service overall. Didnt get her attention until 20 minutes after we received our food. Then another 15 or 20 minutes to even get our change. No refills. Worst serviced ive ever had. She wasnt even deserving of the 1 dollar tip i left her.

I called and ordered orange chicken to go. Came, paid, picked it up and left. When I came back to work to eat my food, open the container. Inside was over cooked rice, meat that looked like chicken nuggets with a slice of orange on the side. I guess that is their take on orange chicken. Was not happy. My lunch break was over, and the food was too gross to eat. Not ordering from them ever again.

The restaurant has been our favorite dine out place for us. The seafood fried rice and curry flavor are superb and authentic. The male server (unfortunately I do not recall his name) we had was also amazing and would not forget to check on us and how we like our food. Overall I would give the restaurant a five star on both food and service!

I wonder if the good reviews come from the owners or someone who as a vested interest in the place. To me it looks as if meat and fish comes from frozen or tinned, But the one thing that put me off was looking a some of the staffs NAILS, which was thick with dirt. ..UNCLEAN NAILS put me off my food...

Ordered chicken pad Thai, wife had tofu pad Thai. Could barely taste the peanut sauce and no cilantro...2 very inexpensive ingredients. Modestly busy but took an hr to get our food. There was a blond hair in the chicken. Server was fantastic, sad that such a formerly fine resturant has slid so low.
