Basically I went in today at 12:10 p.m. it was my first time there I work on 6th Street and Archibald so I went out to my lunch I decided to try this new place thats yours when I ordered my order I went to go sit down and the two gentlemen that were working was one elderly short black men and another tall bald around his fifties as well once I ordered my food there was these two other couple it was sitting in front of me the short black man elderly man when to drop off their coleslaw he got some clothes on his fingers then he looked towards me and told me are you the guy that ordered the mashed potatoes and I said yeah and then he licked his fingers in front of me because he had coleslaw on them then he proceeded to go to the back didnt even wash his hands and brought my food that way I didnt say anything because I dont want to be rude but that was pretty disgusting I wouldnt go there again. And I was recording so I have him on video doing that as well I posted it to my Facebook my Instagram and on YouTube four pictures and directions of this restaurant and I live local as well

(CAUTION) I WENT TO THIS PLACE AND FELT RIGHT AT HOME LIKE I WAS AT GRANNYS HOUSE THE 2 GENTLEMEN BEHIND THE THE COUNTER REALLY NICE. I ORDERED MY FOOD ONE 4 PCS JUST MEAT AND A SIDE OF MAC&CHEESE AND FOR MY LADY THE 3 PC MEAL WITH FRIES. TAKES ABOUT 40 MIN WE ARE THE OLYMPIC CUSTOMERS IN THERE AT THE TIME. THE FOOD COMES OUT THEY GOT MY SIDE DISH ON HER PLATE AND MY CHICKEN ON HER PLATE. THEN AFTER ALL THAT TIME AND CONFUSION THE CHICKEN THAT THEY SERVED MY 8 MONTH PREGNANT FIANCÉ IS SPOILED. NOW I BELIEVE IN SUPPORTING LOCAL HELL I WILL EVEN GO AS FAR AS SAYING I LOVE SUPPORTING BLACK OWNED BUSINESS. BUT COME ON BRAH YOU BUYING CHICKEN FROM THE GROCERY STORE AND FREEZING IT ,CHANGE YOUR GREASE, STOP FRYING FISH ,AND SHRIMP AND CHICKEN IN THE SAME GREASE IT TASTES LIKE EVERYTHING YOU HAVE COOKED THE LAST 4 MONTHS.HE WAS NICE ABOUT IT AND I WAS JUST READY TO LEAVE HE GAVE ME TEN DOLLARS BACK. THANKS ILL USE THIS TO BUY SOME STOMACH MESS. BE CAREFUL WITH THIS PLACE I THINK THE LOCAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT NEEDS TO PAY THEM A VISIT.

My husband and I travel all over the world.....and we love to eat. We are getting a little snobby about our food actually. We spend a lot of time in Brazil my home and San Francisco and LA. My husband is from Kansas and family from Oklahoma. All this to say....this restaurant has AMAZING chicken! Really!! We go out of our way to come here when we are in LA with a million choices. The owners ,or their cook ,who is a sweet older man ,cooks the chicken when you order. They add extra touches.They are skilled. They really care. They have demanding clients. And they are nice and will be your friends. I see people eating the chicken in their front seat of their car because they cant wait. Im not kidding. My husband says he misses real fried chicken,,nd this is the place you can get it. And. Go ahead and try the gizzards. Trust us, haha.

Brought my in laws this time. They loved it. We had the chicken and I was pleased again. The chicken is always fresh and hot. I would be there everyday if I could. Will definitely go again about again.
