Came in by myself and made a simple request on a very slow And empty Wednesday night asking the chef if he could make 5 sushi rolls of one type and 5 sushi rolls of another and it could not be fulfilled. I requested this for the simple fact that I wanted to try two different types of rolls but knew that I would not be able to finish 20 rolls by myself and I really detest unnecessary food waste, and we all know Sushi is not good fresh so taking it as leftovers wasnt an option plus I was staying in a hotel nearby with no fridge. I also offered to pay full price for both dishes, I dont understand why he refused to do so. It is less work and more profit on their behalf and the customer walks away happy??? Too bad. I walked across the street to the other sushi place and got exactly what I wanted. :)

Very poor service for the price. We were seated immediately but waited about 15 minutes to order and didnt get the food until 45 minutes after arriving. I sat with an empty drink most of that time as our table was ignored and my meal was supposed to come with a salad and after questioning it with one of the wait staff he said "I dont know, I didnt take your order," shrugged, and walked off. A few other customers came in after us and left before us and overall it was just a bad first experience. I wont be returning when theres so much other good food in the area.

I was so impressed with the service I received. I took my boys here for dinner. We had the BFF and the Baked roll. We also tried the short ribs. The food was soooo good but the service was even better. The only down side, there were no desserts on the menu. The chef was nice enough to make a delicious treat for us that included oranges and chocolate. It was just enough to tame our sweet tooth without making them bouce off the wall. A+ service and A+ food. P.S my phone died at the restaurant so I was not able to take a picture.

The food is alright I guess, no where near "best sushi in town" the service on the other hand was amazing, miso soup was good, never waited more then a minute for a refill. Not a place I would drive to eat but if your are in the area and dont want to go anywhere else this place is for you.

I ordered a Sesame Chicken Bento box. They didnt give me what I ordered and what they gave me was disgusting, over cooked dried out chicken. My order was to go so I guess they really didnt care so much. Very disappointing for a $12 lunch bento box.

The food was delicious! I cant have gluten and the chef was really awesome, he came to our table to make sure he knew my food allergies, then suggested food based on them. He also didnt mind coming up with "chefs choice" sushi for us.

Amazing flavors and fresh with no fishy after taste. ..its up there. Service wonderful. Ask the chef to make a roll off the top of his head when you go in. He made me one and called it the Shannon role...yeah man great place.

This place is awesome. Alex the sushi chef is phenomenal and always gives us excellent and unique rolls. I only give 4 stars because whenever we go and he isnt there, were not as pleased with what comes out.

Great place in Sacramento to grab some fantastic sushi. Love being able to avoid the downtown crowd and still get an interesting selection of rolls to select from as well as classic sushi options.

Their California roll has fake crab meat in it. Miso soup is good. Ill probably go back as their salmon teriyaki was pretty tasty.
