Ive been anticipating the opening of this Golden Corral as I usually go to the location in Industry which for me is alot further. My daughter and I finally went on 4/3/2017, as I felt the initial hype of the Grand Opening would be over and the staff would be acclimated to their jobs by now..............boy was I wrong. I arrived at about 1:30 PM (which is after the Lunch Crowd Rush) and there wasnt a line out the door, thankfully. I paid and I saw it was still crowded inside. I found a clean table and we grabbed our plates and the first thing I noticed was there wasnt any food available, the trays were empty, and the majority of the patrons were standing around waiting for the cooks to replace the empty food trays with full ones. I asked my server if I could speak to the On Duty Manager, his name was Rudy. I explained to him that I was very disappointed with my experience there and why wasnt any food available. He explained to me to that supposedly two of their deep fryers werent working, which was creating a backlog in their supply of food. He apologized and offered to comp me a meal (at the Pomona location only) for my next visit, which I gladly accepted. The Staff and our Server was very hospitable and did try to offer any help that they could. Of course I will return in the near future to use my comp, but hopefully the productivity of the cooks and availability of the food will increase. For the time being I feel this place only deserves two stars, the reason being that for being a new restaurant, their equipment shouldnt be broken and the available selection of food was unacceptable.

Good service from the waiters but one very serious flaw. The food is very over salted to the point where its not enjoyable, and not just one item. Consistently everything I kept tasting was very salty and im not kidding. I told the waitress and she was very polite about it and apologized she said we werent the first. She told the manager and said they would do something about it. I really hope they do because I like Golden Corral but I wont hesitate driving a little farther to go to another location if its that bad on the next visit. Leaving with a headache and a stomache ache is not fun. Better to under salt than over salt always. Please tell your cooks. Thats what the salt shaker on the table is for. Also a cook ignored my mom twice when she was asking for a cut of steak because he was talking to a coworker, later that same cook pretended not to see my wife when she was asking for a cut and continued to ignore her until he finished his conversation with a coworker.

I went to this location this past Sunday for Easter. There was a bit of a line, but it moved pretty fast. The hostess ask how many was in my party to which I replied 6 an infant and 2 year old. The infant is handicap and requires special attention. So I told the hostess they were parking, could I go out and help them in to which she said yes. By the time we got back in, because the rest of our party had moved further up in line she told us we would have to go to the back of the line. Totally unexceptable especially since I had just watched another family, do exactly what I was told I couldnt do. They even let them through the side door in which she told me I would be able to bring the baby through. Completely BIAS EXPERIENCE! If this establishment is only going to cater to certain indivisuals and nationalities the public should know.

Poorly designed line way to long and in the main walk way and the employees did nothing to help the costumers and the had to switch our table because one of the employees was sitting at the booth they were going to set us at and wouldnt move so they had to walk us around the crowded restaurant to find a new table that was smaller than the original one we had to walk around and get napkins from a different table because they didnt give us any one of the employees bumbed one of our party members with a hot tray and most of their food was miss labelled oh and their emergency exit sign was upside down but the food was good

Same price as the rest of the Golden Corrals but half the service. Lots of empty trays for food. Chocolate fountain shut down over an hour before closing. No cotton candy. Mislabeled food or maybe it was just not available at all. The only thing good was the wait staff. Very very dissappointed. We wont be returning to this location again. Its like it had to match pomona apparently. Crappy city, crappier service. We love golden corral but this one. I feel that this was horrible decision by Golden Corral to let this location be so run down.

It was extremely crowded. They definitely need to create an area for the station where they freshly grill the food like Paradise Buffet. The fountain drink section needs to be separate too. They need bigger plates & different varieties of cheese. They should also seat people so no one has to wander around the restaurant staring at everyone looking for a seat. Overall my daughter says they need to be more organized. However, the carrot is really good. The fried chicken skin is awesome. All the shrimp is good but the popcorn shrimp is

If you want overpriced buffet food, which is neither healthy nor tasty, as well as risking a severe case of diarrhea, by all means, spend your money at this Golden Corral. Since it just opened close to where I live, I wanted to give it a try but as usual it did not disappoint me, by serving higher quality food. Same old stuff. Tasteless and bland. In addition, the stations are not replenished in a timely way. Another "never-again" place in my book.

Not exactly Caesars Palace, but they have a huge variety of tasty foods and desserts, and a big fresh salad bar. The buffet line is clean and well organized. The service is prompt and courteous with frequent check backs and drink refills. Over all this is an excellent value, especially for families and seniors. But dont expect to have a romantic dinner for two here. Its hectic, crowded and noisy!

I was waiting for several months for this restaurant to finally open, and I finally got the chance to taste their food! Needless to say, I was very impressed with the large variety of choices and the homely atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the overall eating experience was one not to soon be forgotten! Expect me back here again! Thank you Golden Corral for an exceptional meal!

The food was good, but not as good as the store in Industry. Further, we came in at 12:05 Saturday afternoon (8/5) and asked for lunch and the cashier told us that atvthis time on weekends, they are serving dinner. Do we paid the dinner rate. However, when checking the web site of Golden Corral, it states that lunch is served on Saturdays from 12 am to 4pm. Why were we overcharged?

Iv very upset with the Managment. My wife finds hair in her food and i take it to the manager, he trys to offer me more food as if he paid for it.. I said No id rather have my money back note my wife and i was only here for 20 minutes didnt even eat a full buffet.. He end up giving me not even half of my money back for finding hair in my food.. Not rite.. So ill be filing a suit!!!!
