Food was okay for sushi, though some popular sushi, though some popular sushi chains offer more flavor and value. We arrived at a popular time for lunch on a Friday, being so close to the 1 Highway we thought there would be a good crowd. Not a single person. We thought it was closed, until a man came from the back to seat us. Long story short. If you sit at the bar, 20 dollar minimum, and you cannot order from the kitchen sushi only. And if you sit at the bar, the waiter cannot serve you and appears angry at your decision. I didnt get the concept. Theyre choking their own business.

Sushi was ok. Pieces are smaller than other places but taste and freshness of fish was acceptable. Theres better places in town for sushi. Prices are fair I think considering its in Corona Del Mar. BUT what makes me give 1 star is the service. Horribly condescending waiter and passed us up several times for a couple of his regular patrons while our food was on the counter. But what made it worth it was the TRUMAN sign behind the chef. Laughed my ass off ! Give em Hell Harry!!!!!

The best Sushi I have ever had!! I have been eating here for 34 years. It is always the freshest fish. Yasu is an incredible sushi chef. The service is wonderful. I feel very lucky to have Nagisa so close to my home. I wont eat sushi anywhere else❤

Best in the country. I travel often for work. Ive had sushi in every major city and sea port, Nagisa is still the best. I used to go there often 15 years ago. Went back last week on a business trip, and yes its still the best in the US of A -D
