DISHONEST - OVERCHARGE AND SUBSTITUTE CHEAPER DISHES FOR HIGHER PRICED ONES. Green Garden is very disappointing. It does look clean and sometimes the food is good. However, cheaper dishes are substituted for more expensive ones and the higher price is charged. If questioned, the manager/owner, Al, says that is the way they make the dish. Four days before it was it was made properly. The main disadvantage is the Chinese overcharge. It is imperative to ask for an itemized receipt if you want to pay the correct price. Otherwise, a receipt with the total is given - - ALWAYS TO THEIR ADVANTAGE. Who wants a proprietor to think the customer is a sap and a sucker just because the Chinese owner does not appreciate American courtesy?

I used to love this place when AL used to work there. Al was very helpful, respectful, and welcoming. Now this place stinks in service. The guy with piercing is always disrespectful, treats customers as if we need them. Food is great but have it to go instead because you would be treated very rude. I had family that came from Los ANGELES and wanted to eat there because of their food that taste great. Right of the bat this man his way of approaching us was very bold no smile or something nice to say. My brother in law asked for a menu and he tossed it to him. Never again coming here. I rate this place in service a big 0.

Dont even get me started on this place. I love it. I miss it. If this was located in sf iI would weigh 500lbs. I used to live in Concord and would come to this place at least 3 times a week. Lets just say my cholesterol was at an all time high but totally worth it. Everything is good. No lie. The best of the best Id the combination chow mein (extra extra spicy) and the szchuan(spelling) chicken. The hot and sour soup is also delightful. The waiters are also awesome, shout out to Steven. Everytime I pass by Im definitely coming in. Thanks for existing.

I really love their service and food. However last time I was there, NYE, the chef was making hacking noising as if he had a cold. Also, I swear I had more soup than they actually packaged. I was quite concerned when I got home to eat left overs and I had hardly ANY soup. The big bowl they serve and I was the only one eating it. Almost made me think, soup is ordered alot, did they recycle my unused soup? -Gross. Probably wont go back, but I used to love this place.

My daughter brought me home an order of lemon chicken today that was the worst I have ever tasted. The chicken was so dry and stringy I could not chew it enough to swallow it. The sauce was good and was wasted by pouring it over the pieces of chicken,. I had to throw it out after trying to chew through several pieces with no success. Sickening!
