This is a new Asian Fusion restaurant that replaced P. F. Chang s in San Jose downtown. This restaurant decor is off the charts. It gets really colorful at night. The lighting and the ambiance is excellent. This is a perfect mixture of an awesome restaurant with lounge like feeling and an active bar with a small dance floor. Let me start with the food first. This is a restaurant with Indian, Thai, Malaysian, Singaporean fusion menu. For people that crave for Indo-Chinese food, this might just be you restaurant. The Asian good here had a nice twist to it. Great mixture of different spices and cooking techniques brings out awesome tasty food. From noodles to Thai curry, some Indian style curry, yes they have butter chicken, and different kinds of fried rice and great desert menu, this restaurant got everything. Their protein section is great and is cooked to perfection. The service is decent but sometimes the tedious cooking might take some time. But the waiting is worth it. Now about the bar. The active bar serves variety of cocktails, martini, and draft beer, wine, and many other spirits. This is not your regular dive bar, so drinks might be little more expensive than other bars. Usually it starts with 10-12 dollars of cocktails. But the drinks are good. Bartenders are very nice, hard working, caring and creative. They will make any drink you might wanna taste with their unique twists. Now about the lounge. Go ahead and make your self comfortable with really, may be extra cozy, seating and the dining area. Evening is the best time to go to this lounge. Usually the dinner service close around 11: 30 pm but you might get lucky if the manager is convinced that you are really hungry. Lol. The restaurant converts into lounge after 10 on weekends only. So 21 and above is must if you are going in after 10 pm. They have couple of security guards in the lounge and they are very friendly and they make sure you are safe. The lounge have a patio area which is very cozy and smoke friendly. Yes, you may bring your food or drinks outside in the patio area but watch put for the hungry homeless eyes. Lol. The parking is as usual in the downtown area. The restaurant does not have their own dedicated parking but they do validate your parking coupon. Make sure you park at the parking garages with Pv sign which means that parking coupons can be validated with the local businesses. You might get lucky with the street side parking which is free after 6 pm at most places. But to keep your car safe and hassle free parking, use the Pv service. Overall, this restaurant might become a jewel of San Jose downtown. Inside news is that it will become a full time club in couple of months after 10 pm on weekdays. So keep an eye. This is an awesome place for private events and office parties. Great food, great ambiance, great drink and great place to spend your weekends. Give it a shot. Try out their lamb chops, you might be blown away. Lol

HORRIBLE (Must read): BEYOND MONEY, PEOPLE DESERVE RESPECT I usually dont review much. Here is the reason why am here.... We did a weekend birthday party.I genuinely felt why i chose this place so many times after paying $2600 for 30adults and 20kids. 1)We were told that the party area will be available at 4pm for us to decorate. They gave us at 5:30.We had to rush to make arrangements for our guests 2)Place is really suited for 20 people. But these guys were selling this place as if this can host 50. 3)Since its such a small place, obvious overflow from this area to near by free space. Can you believe...they were telling guests to leave that area and they told us they will charge extra...i invited CEOs,VPs,Managers...r u kidding me ? No respect for people whatsoever...CANT ACCEPT 4)Dinner was supposed to be served till 10pm.They stopped serving around 9.When i asked about it desserts are already served. 5) When i asked for food, plates, etc i still remember the looks they gave.As if they are serving for free...cant believe ....no caring for someone who trusted you for something really important in our lives 6)Drinks are included in the price. Each drink was taking 10 to 15mins.Intentional delay. There was no grace time at all.I order drink at 10:05 they started charging again.Ridiculous 7)I tried to talk about these issues towards the end...reply i got from them... i cannot reduce the price, we do lot of events here...you are more concerned about money than service. Never again!!!

Interesting place. This is by no means a bad 3 star rating. (Lunch Review) Food: I had the steamed bass and it was pretty damn good. It was served with rice and kimchi on the side. My friend ordered their hot wings to start and I tried one and it was really good. Service: Service was fine even with a trainee in tow. Food came out well timed. I only had to ask for a refill once, otherwise service was attentive. Atmosphere: It is a little strange. It looks like they spent a lot on decorating and furnishing this place which would explain the cost to dine (ill get to this). We sat at a 2 seat table and I felt like a kid because the fancy chairs sunk so low that I could pretty much sweep food from the table into my mouth. Cost: I dont think my bass was over priced ($18), but I can see why a lot of people are complaining about the cost to eat there. I mean they have a Banh Mi sandwich on the menu for like 15 bucks, soft drinks are 4 bucks... I assume items are pricey to cover the cost of opening, furnishing, and decorating the place. So yeah it can add up fast. Lunch for my and my friend (wings, chicken sandwich, bass, 2 soft drinks) was $50. Overall: Good place if you have a few extra bucks to spend, but I think now-a-days people would rather eat good food on a park bench for cheap than pay a premium to sit in velvet cushioned seats with gold decorations around them.

During ordering there are many items were told that are not available anymore and seems out of place to be. Later on, takes a bit to get our food, been waiting for over 25 mins. Granted there is 12 people in my party but there has been appetizers taking forever to arrive the tables. Two people in the party did not get their appetizers to begin with and the chefs thought they wanted it with the main course. Which then arrived later on One person in our party had to leave early, but seems to take long for him to check out. Waiter never bothered to ask to refill my soda, I had to ask myself about a refill even when he is going around refilling water. Food was good, raising the overall experience. Getting the check was slow too. Spent almost 2.5 hrs on my dining experience. Despite being slow, was good food, but since it took forever, a 3 star rating is given. Even with a 12 people table. Server : Alejandro C. ----------- Afterthought, asked Manager to remove the automatic 18% since I didnt think they deserved 10% (CA law allows you to get rid off) Manager claimed she couldnt do it and only gave me a drink coupon. That expires before I will be back to CA. Detracted to a 2 star review

The drinks were good, the spring rolls great, but I got an undercooked chicken burger. My server was apologetic and took it away. I no longer wanted my entrée, but my server insisted on taking it back and getting me a new one. I got the first plate of salmonella well after my husband was served his dinner. After that was taken away, I didnt get my fully cooked meal until after my husband had finished his. I attempted not to get irked and insted ordered another drink. The first whiskey cocktail was great, the second was missing ingredients. That was when I officially had enough and got angry with the service. Also, the woman sitting at the table next to mine, ordered a mixed drink and was brought a drink with no alcohol in it. Ultimately, I was charged for the food didnt want and didnt end up eating. I will not return to this establishment and caution anyone reading this to think twice before heading to M lounge in San Jose.
