This place had mixed reviews so we figured we would try it. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else!!! The egg rolls are appetizer size 2 for $4.00+ -- but at least they were good. Very expensive for the amount and quality of the food. The chicken was over cooked-chewy and dry. The pork was so over cooked i had to spit it out. Waiter had attitude problem and didnt like that we told him about the food. Waiter stated was getting manager but no manager ever came over. We felt like someone robbed us of 38.00. (cost of the food that we were unable to enjoy) Check reviews there are other places a lot better for the $$...

Weve been going to Yen King for many years, starting at the old location near the former Yardbirds and now at the new building on Monte Vista. The food and service have always been excellent. The combination dinners are a good value. They include appetizer, soup, and main courses with a good variety of choices. The lunch specials are also a terrific value. Just as often, though, we order a la carte, as there are so many good choices on the menu, all of which are always delicious. I think this is one of the best and most consistently good restaurants of any kind in Vacaville.

This is a 4.2 Restaurant but the service is only 1 star. We arrived in the Restaurant before anybody else ordered a bunch of food including appetizer. People start coming in because it just open. soup arrives after 15mins they serves us our chicken wing it was burnt and taste terrible. I complain it to the waitress and gave them a piece of the chicken wings and ask them to taste it and tell me if it was burn they said its normal when we heard everybody laugh in our table we are really disappointed.

Love the Mongolian Beef, Mushu, Sweet and sour chicken, chow mein, kung pao chicken, hot and sour soup, almost anything on the menu is fantastic and if its not they will make it so. If you want food spicer just tell them when you order or conversely-more mild they will make it so. My favorite Chinese in Solano County.

Eating with friends and table next to us got louder & louder. Very disruptive. We couldnt even hear each other. Mgmt should have stopped serving them bottles of wine & asked them to quite down. Ridiculous and not a family atmosphere. Other Chinese places to eat in town.

The menu online had outdated prices, the egg rolls I received were over done, the newer prices are at least $2 more expensive, and I wasnt told the amount of of my order until i picked it up. Not to mention this is my first time ordering. Not a good first impression.

Food is very good. Price is also good compared to other "nice" Chinese restaurants I have frequented. I love their Salt & Pepper Fish & their Green Bean Pork. Have been there several times and will definitely go back many more.

A typical Chinese- American restaurant, with grand entrance and as un-authentic as they get. The menu is reasonable but food is premade and microwave heated. Dont look for dumplings here.

Great beef fried rice and Mongolian beef! Definitely give this place a try. Took a star off because I feel a little ripped off sometimes considering the price and how much meat I receive.

Price is a little high example would be $3.50 for a small kids chocolate milk but once you get over the price its a good overall experience. I would recommend the cherry chicken

Best in Vacaville. We wont eat at any other Chinese restaurant in Vacaville. You have to go to the Bay Area for a Chinese restaurant truly worthy of 4 or 5 stars.
