We decided to order a couple of the stuffed naan to go in order to stop in and take a peek at the buffet before we went there for lunch. I ordered the one stuffed with lamb, my husband one that had chicken. As soon as he walked in the door with our order the smell of rotten meat filled the house. It was obvious that they had used old, tainted lamb in the bread which was burned to a crisp on one side. I peeled the bread apart and there was not even a teaspoon of this meat filling in the whole bread but it was rotten enough that the smell permeated the house. My husbands naan was also burned black on one side and he peeled his open and neither of us could find even a tiny piece of chicken in it. I must admit that I was tempted to take a drive to Santa Rosa and let the health department see what this place was serving as I am sure that if I had eaten it I would have gotten sick. You risk your health going to eat here.

I highly recommend Namaste Kitchen! Ive been a fan of Indian cuisine for many years and Namaste Kitchen was a great addition to our community. Excellent dishes served by wonderful, kind hosts. Love the traditional music while enjoying their exotic food offerings.

I have been to India and this is the first restaurant I have found locally that made me feel like I was back there. The service is amazing and the food is even better. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Indian food.

Went for the lunch buffet and had the Tandoori Chicken, which was great. Family owned and family run, so the service was really good. If you’re looking for quality Indian food in Petaluma this is a great spot.

I like the tulsi basil, tomato, paneer salad. Entrees were disappointing though. From what Ive tried, the food just doesnt come close to that at the Nepalese cafe in Cotati.
