Oh sweet baby Sally. This place did everything right. Wow. Lunch was $9.55/adult, about $7 for a child and my 1.5-year-old was free. The front desk/floor service was FANTASTIC! Super sweet girl who greeted us with warmth, seated us quickly and checked in frequently to fill our water cups (which I dont think she had to do). If this was her way of making sure to keep our table free of dishes, she was very slick. I never once felt awkward or uncomfortable. Now, the food. The sushi here is nom nom nummy and they had seaweed salad. I was so surprised that they have my very elusive walnut prawns dish and have outdone even my favorite (and only place) to get them back home in Cali; crunchy, tender and perfect! They also had a peanut pork dish that had a toffee-like coating?! Fishballs (what?!), fresh oysters, perfect vegetable tempura, Chinese donuts were LEGIT. The ice cream is self scoop which I dont know that I like, but my 9-year-old was loving it. The cantaloupe and honeydew were flavorless, but that happens to me too. The warm food was warm and not extremely hot, the cold food was chilled and not frozen (except the ice cream, which might be bad, but perfect when you have a toddler to feed and are hungry. There was also a sign that stated NO MSG; I dont know if its true, but I definitely wasnt hungry again 10 minutes after leaving. The bathroom was clean, no touch water and paper towel dispenser, but you had to pump the soap. The toilet paper did not disintegrate in my hands. AND! They have a trash can by the door, for those of you who like that kind of thing :) I love love LOVE this place and will come back again!

At first, I wasnt very impressed with the food. Im not a seafood guy, and what I saw that wasnt seafood didnt really appeal to me. That and there was only two people eating there before us. My grandparents wanted to eat here so I came along, after all. But what I experienced was unexpected. There was only one person working there, and I didnt know if he was the owner or not, but that doesnt matter. He was extremely friendly to us and did everything he could to give us a quality time. He cooked fresh food just for us. That night I only had noodles and glazed BBQ ribs, but what he cooked was amazing. I never had tastier noodles in my life. I cant give this a higher score because the variety wasnt very appealing to me, but the service was absolutely incredible, the quiet atmosphere was incredible, and the music was soothing of the mind. If they up the variety and consistently replace the food with fresh after a certain period of time, this would be a 5 star buffet for sure. Its really sad to see all the backlash this place gets, but I pray that the Fuji Buffet has a bright future. It just needs some improvement.

Ate at 4:30 on a Thursday. Mild selection. The chicken dishes I had (General Tsos, mushroom chicken) were stringy and tough like theyd been made hours ago. The coconut prawns had way too much breading and tasted mediocre. I cannot caution you against the sushi enough. The white fish (the name escapes me) was SUPER fishy and tasted like seawater, the ahi was watery but not bad. The imitation crabmeat, in a sushi roll, was drying out and smelled like sweat. Fresh is the last word Id use to describe this place, and I think the attendance reflects that; the place was empty. Maybe the food here is good when it gets first brought out, but judging by how dry and old tasting the food was, thats not often. Not impressed. The sweet and sour sauce is 10/10, really great job there. The only reason I give 2/5.

Need to address the fundamentals: need to have clean basic utensils that are in reasonable shape! Dishes/plates need to be properly cleaned before putting back out.. Those were not at all addressed. I caught three plates covered in grease and oil (in supposedly the clean pile) and those utensils, gawd, what horrible shape! Dirty, water spotted or calcified, chipped... Food: actually finally better than the last 3 owners. From the horrible "AA" to "No 1" to now "Fuji".. I think the food has improved from zero star to 1 star to now I can give a 3 star.. but it will be quickly dropped to 2 stars if they continue to have dirty dishwasher and utensils.

The food is not at all bad for the price but what sets this place apart is the service. The waiters will go to the ends of the earth to please you. The music tends to be of the more relaxed soothing variety with the occasional pop son here and there... all in all a comfortable atmosphere. The food consists of sushi (not that great), various Asian meats(teriyaki chicken ect) and salad/bread options. The desert here is standard fare quality and the fried rice and yakisoba are good. The best food here seems to be the meats, the worst being the sushi. Still for an average of 15 - 25$ a sitting, its well worth the trip.

Food was great and the service is even better. They asked my wife if she needed anything and my wife asked if a certain dish was spicy because she doesnt like spicy. They said the dish was spicy but then replied they would be happy to make the dish not spicy. They also asked my daughter on a different day if she needed anything and she asked if they had any spring roles without shrimp. They said no but could make her some shrimp less spring rolls. Now in my book, that is excellent service by catering to their customers needs. They also serve dungeness crab.

Ive been coming to this place for years. Its changed names and ownership several times over the years (in fact, my friends and I still call it by its original name "Fresh Foody" :) ), and the menu always changes with each new owner, but for the most part remains the same. The place is always my go to place if I cant decide on a place to eat out. To me, its a staple of east Bremerton, and holds a special place to my friends and I...

If I could rate zero I would....I have never written a review of a place but this has got to be the absolutely worst buffet I have ever been too...crab legs on ice the meat was yellow...the butter smelled like a burnt fryer...the general tsos chicken was horrible, and to top it off the rice was stale, and all that for 15 dollars for dinner...I took three bites and left...

One of few oriental buffets left that doesnt make me sick. Truth is, I LOVE the food here. The peanut chicken sounds weird, but its to die for! My wife loves the fresh sushi and seafood selection - shrimp, prawn, crabs legs, etc. And theres plenty for kids to love. The new owners are doing a fantastic job with the place. Worth the price.

Service was great, ive never had a chef at an all you can eat offer fresh cooked food to you on a personal plate ,i think the food is great ,only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because some of the food had been there for a while cuz it wasnt busy enough

The first thing I saw when I walked in was a dead beta fish in the fish bowl that was by the cash register. The service was terrible. The food was bland and greasy. The floor was extremely dirty. Plus it was most definitely not worth the price.
