Once again our food was not as ordered. We ordered two burritos and a side order of Guacamole [1) Carne Asada Burrito, NO Salsa, on a Wheat Tortilla; and 2) Whole Pinto Bean, Rice and Cheese Burrito on a Wheat Tortilla.] My boyfriend picked it up but he was already home when we realized the order was wrong so we dealt with it. There was a ton of salsa in burrito No. 1 and refried beans instead of whole pinto beans in burrito No. 2. I decided to call to express my frustration that our orders have been wrong on numerous visits and asked for the manager. He seemed more interested in making excuses then simply apologizing. He explained that when we say "NO SALSA" that actually means NO SAUCE to his staff and that in the future I should say "NO PICO DE GALLO" I told him no problem (even though I have NEVER had that issue anywhere else). I then asked if I should be saying something different when I ask for Whole Pinto Beans and he said no that was fine but that sometimes they may come out overcooked and appear more like refried beans. I told him that I have received whole pinto beans from his restaurant before so I know the difference. I wished he would just admit the possibility that his staff made a mistake! I told him I wasnt looking for a free meal or a discount, I was just frustrated and wanted to let him know that we were hesitant to go back again. I told him it would be nice if he could at least apologize and he snapped back, "I did, YOU are not listening!" Believe me, I would have heard an apology. Apparently the customer is always WRONG at La Azteca. Its not the best taqueria in town but it was around the corner and fairly priced but I will NOT be patronizing this business again.

I use to go to La Azteca quite often but today i went in and ordered the same thing as i always do and it came out wrong so I asked for my order again and they fixed it with only a little hassle and i came there often and it didnt bug me up until I got the bill. Without telling me I was charged for double the price and claimed it was my fault for not telling them even though I did. Not to mention im am young and dont have extra money to spend on other businesses mistakes.

time to find a new Mexican spot! This was the goto place in Petaluma but the quality of food has gone down hill! Low quality, unseasoned meat was mostly grissel and fat. Fried tortilla was soaked with oil and ruined the taco salad. The prices have also gone way up, and I would pay it still if the food was still good. d

small mexican joint located just off of 116 in a small plaza. super friendly and attentive waitstaff. The menu is somewhat confusing about what is offered as far as burritos go(since they offer mini, regular and super). Its best to ask when ordering to ensure you get what you want. Food was food at a reasonable price.

Ive eaten here alot. At least 20% of the time they get the order wrong. They never comp a screwed up order. Bad service. The last burrito I got was 90% rice. I took 2 bites and all the meat was gone. I will never eat here again. Chips were always good though. But $9 for a tortilla shell full of rice is rediculous.

We stopped by here on our way to Guerneville. Its not much to see from the outside but the food is really good! We were all happy with our dishes. I had the cocktail de camaron and it was really good and fresh. Fresh chips n salsa. Definitely worth it if your in the area and want mexican food.

The food at La Azteca is delicious! The staff were very welcoming, and the soundtrack combined with the Mexican-style interior design, created a nice ambience. The salsa was perhaps the best Ive had. By far the most authentic Mexican food Ive had in Northern California.

i ordered azteca tonight as i always do....i love this place, but, tonight it was very bad. ites were all missing sour cream and guaq. items were all over the top of the boxes like they were flipped up side down, meat was flavorless, and fatty. real letdown azteca

Eating on of their Super Shredded Chicken Chimichangas right now (its like 10am)... Im making Homer Simpson noises. Delicious. Generous portions for a good price. Definitely not skimpy on the Guac, tasty warm chips and salsa either. Ill be back. nomnomnom
