We choose the Tolay restaurant that is inside the Sheraton Hotel because of the excellent service we have received at many Sheraton Hotels around the world. We went to Tolay on Thanksgiving 2009. The service was extremely slow. We were a party of 9 so they took care of other tables because the tip was a guarentee. It took 2 1/2 hours to complete our meal and obtain our check. When the food finally arrived, all food was delievered except the food for the three young children at the table. The wait staff even commented to keep my children in line and how they were out of control. The manager never checked on us and never acknowledged the lack of tact its wait staff possessed. This experience not only tarnished the Tolay restaurant, one which I will never patronize again, but it also tarnishes the reputation of Sheraton Hotel. I will be looking to stay at other hotels in the future. Do yourself a favor, dont go to the Tolay restaurant; especially if your have children.

Its hard for me to understand why this place has any good review. For a restaurant in a Sheraton Hotel, I honestly expect much, much more. The dinner menu is incredibly lacking, and the food is underseasoned. The ambiance is very so-so, and most folks are likely to make a more tasty drink at home. Its the type of place in a hotel you would bet would have a nice spread for breakfast, but could easily see upon first glance there is nothing special about dinner. Its a shame, we live close by and would have loved this spot to have been more cared for.

I came to Wine Country with friends and stayed in Sheraton Sonoma County. Tolay restaurant located inside Sheraton Sonoma County is very convenient for us. I have ordered New York steak and it was juicy, tender and delicious. Also, the price is quite reasonable for a hotel restaurant in a friendly setting!good.....,very good......

Had a fantastic happy hour here Friday. The happy-hour special, Beef Slider with Truffle Tremor, was mouth-watering delicious. I ordered the Seared Ahi Tuna with Bok Choy. The tuna was sashimi quality and lightly seared. We also ordered a cheese cake as dessert. It was plated beautifully.
