It was our first time at Best Seoul Korean BBQ. We came in as a group of four and due to some deals or agreements; we ended up paying before we dined. We did not leave a tip after the initial billing yet, because we have not been served, we thought it would be better to leave it to the end. Well the service was not quite as expected, but it was a busy night so we shrugged it off. The waitress gave us the wrong meats and whenever we ordered something, she seemed to dictate it differently. “We would like two steaks please.” She would go, “No you want calamari, it better.” We said, no, but calamari came out anyway. Furthermore, there is a button on the wall that allows you to ring for service; we understand it was a busy night and expected to wait 5-10 minutes, but we ended up waiting a while longer. And please keep in mind that the Korean BBQ is 1 ½ hours only, so every minute counts if you want to get your money’s worth. When the end came, it’s time for the tip. Even though the service was not very good, we still wanted to give something. However one of us was pulled over by the waitress and she demanded a 15% tip or higher. The person turned her down; she then walked to another one of us, who had about 5 to 7 dollars out, she demanded that we should increase the tip. Simultaneously another customer walked by and simply told us to keep the tip to ourselves, since this has been frequent. As seen on the other reviews regarding the customer service or tipping issues, they seem to be very frequent. The food was good, but demanding for a high tip shouldn’t be a thing. Tips are a gratuity and not a necessity, but it is a nice gesture. But the customer should not be forced to give into the server’s demands. I usually dont write reviews, but this is necessary. Fair warning, Im sorry.

First time, I wanted to try something new. It was a friend’s birthday, and we came there as a group to celebrate his 21st. Strangely not at a bar, because he was driving. We paid the bill for our group to have Korean BBQ, but we did not leave a tip because we did not know how the service was. The service was mediocre. Just right before we finished and the time for tipping started. The waitress that was serving us pulled the birthday boy off to the side and demanded that he give her at least 15% tip. He was shocked about her confrontation and turned her down immediately. I was pulling out 15 dollars, unknowing what happened before, and my other friend was pulling out 10 dollars. We were going to give more than 15%, even though the service was poor. But when the waitress stopped by the table and saw we only had 10 dollars, since I did not put my money on the table yet, she pointed down at the money and demanded we give a higher amount, at least 15% of the bill ($108) with a very outright and stern look. We did not want to argue with her, since it was our friend’s birthday. My other friend took his money back, but I left ten dollars. It didn’t feel right on either side. But please avoid this place, it ruins the pleasure of coming to a new restaurant and having potential customers from consistently coming back.

DO NOT GO HERE! Tip Problem : They demand that I have to pay a tip, which I did. But they demand I pay for more tip , though my tip was already 10%. Water problem: You have to ask twice about getting refill with the water. Meat Leftover: If you leave some meat left over youll get charge full price. Changing the grill: Everytime we ask them to change the grill, they seem to be unhappy. Restaurant Code of Ethics? I am asian and they discriminate people regarding on color of your skin and race. I paid for my lunch, gave a 10% tip, food is not good, uncaring service, worst service of korean bbq ever. If you dont want to ruin your gfs dinner dont go here..

I enjoyed it, but my girlfriend did not. I was informed there were acceptable vegetarian options despite it being Korean BBQ, an important stipulation for my girlfriend. She was thoroughly disappointed and a dish they advised that was without meat did in fact contain it or was prepared on a shared surface. A night of indigestion later, would go again, sans-girfriend. 2 stars due to miss information, but enjoyable dishes all the same.

Love the Food.!! The Sides are good and the dipping sauce is even Better What I DONT LIKE is the Attitude that comes from the waitress Every time we go... If I ask for Anything I get attitude. Napkins, sauce, soda, more meat, etc. The only time they seem Happy is when I ask for the check. If it wasnt for them and all that attitude it would be a perfect experience and I would Not hesitate to recommend the place.

High quality ingredients and reasonably priced. My son and I had an excellent time. Several TVs were playing K-Pop videos. Waitresses were always on hand to bring you anything you need. Nice selection of beer too. Perhaps the best Korean BBQ Ive been to.

Very bad service.... Got there waited for 20 min. Before I stood up to ask them for service. They took a pair of plates and spoons. Waited another 5 to 7 min. Before we decided it was time to leave. Their customer service SUCKS!!!!

Got the lunch special and the amount of food for the sides is great they had lots of variety. The service was nice but overall the highlight of the restaurant is their extensive variety of meat. I would definitely come again

May be they know you are cheap and dont tip, good that is why you dont get good service start by giving them a good tip 15% at least. I get good service every time I go there but yeah I tip good :)

AYCE for dinner starts at $22. Decent quality meat and the service was very good. They sat our party of 7 in a room but they checked on us pretty frequently. Will def come back.

Service was horrible. We were the only people in the restaurant and still needed to yell for things as the staff walked by ignoring us. On the plus side, the meat was good.

Thank goodness we spontaneously decided to stop here. Well definitely be doing it frequently. The sides and salad are great and the meat taste and selection is fantastic!

Weve been visiting this place for several weeks in a row. The first time service was outstanding, the other times it was average. Good food for good value.

Pretty good food - pretty crappy customer service. Had the korean bbq shortribs. Tender but not sweet enough. Need to work on their people skills.

Fairly standard Korean BBQ, with less options than most places of similar food style. Over priced, no radish paper, you have to ask for Siracha...
