This was our first time dining at Hot Stone Slow Food from Korea and while the food was tasty it was offset when my friend had an allergic reaction. Im not blaming the restaurant, however, we specifically stated he had a peanut allergy and were told the dish he selected did not contain nuts. Either it did or there was some unfortunate cross contamination. While the owner was somewhat sympathetic to his allergic reaction there was more discussion about how it couldnt have happened from the food that accepting that it could have occurred in their restaurant. Just beware of this when you dine. Our intent is not to trash this establishment, but only warn others who may have a similar concern.

A good spot for lunch! They are fairly fast, usually your food is out in under 5 minutes. Its a nice indoor setting and they also have outdoor seating as well if its a nice day outside. The staff is friendly and they are pretty good about asking if you need anything or refilling water. I would highly recommend if ours having a KBBQ craving but dont want to stop into a KBBQ buffet/pit or dont want to spend a large sum in one sitting. Usually prices range from $8-$12. They are vegetarian friendly as well.

So far Im A Okay with this business. The help is a little spunky and thats fine. They do speak a little fast. And thats part of youth. I just love the hot bowl in case in a patented wood container. Also I like very much the outdoor seating and watch people walk by while eating. Ohhh no tipping at the table. Nice, I just put a buck or two in the jar!! The food is very much unique and that is very tasty and healthy. Its very much affordable! Ill be back!!!!

The idea is good, but the portions of meat (and even veggies) provided was minimal. It was mostly just a huge bowl of rice. Hubby and I tried the dupbap and the bibimbap and there was no noticeable difference. The kalbi is thicker chunks of meat and the bulgogi is thin sliced. Wasnt terribly impressed with either dish.

Ambience is good. Place is decorated well, but its super small. Staff were friendly. Food tasted horrible though (everything has a fishy taste and smell to it!). I tasted their chicken and a beef plate... both tasted so bad! Will most definitely not be returning!!!

The employees are very friendly, especially because it was my first time going there. The bibimbap was very good as it wasnt too spicy and it was on the sweeter side. It was my preference. The sides was amazing and my friend eating with me craved it.

So delicious, very fast, and very reasonably priced! All the dishes can be customized to accommodate any dietary needs. The Valley finally has an incredible go-to Korean restaurant!
