Make NO mistake about it: This is the best food and service you are going to find in this area. Any rating LESS than 5 stars will more than likely be some outsider of our beloved "Ridge", and can not possible understand why this stop could be sometimes slow, as food this good is cooked to order; staff is really busy because it is the ONLY Organic place around, and they may complain food is expensive, which for Organic, Hand-made with Love wholesome food using local ingredients, it is not all that bad. What you really have to understand is that the owners LOVE food, they LOVE you, unconditionally, and this joint is so funky and cool indoors and especially outdoors is that if you live here, you are eternally grateful for the "Ridge Stop". If youre passing through: TAKE YOUR TIME, and enjoy one of Americas last freest places and spiritually uplifting places youre gonna find for a long, long time. Namaste!

Dedicated, kind and authentic owners who really care about people and sharing a place where people can be themselves. I love to stop by the Ridge Cafe for a fresh smoothie or one of their great salads or sandwiches. They are always fresh and organic. It is one of my favorite local places I go for a fresh chocolate chip cookie and a chat with the colorful and creative surrounding community.

Its not everyday that you stumble across a good organic cafe on the back roads of California - but when you do, you need to tell someone about it. GOOD ORGANIC CAFE is something Im always searching for, especially on the long, curvy drive from Donner Pass to Oroville. Outdoor seating, great BLT and blended mocha. Gluten free options too! Cool location, will be back for sure.

Great little place with amazing food and friendly staff. They would have received 5 stars but, service was extremely slow. Everything is made fresh and am sure this is time consuming but they do need to pick it up a bit. Quality ingredients and the delicious ripen tomatoes on our sandwiches were amazing...thinking home grown. We will definitely stop again!

We were in the area for the Bullards Fire. On our down time we stopped in for a coffee. The employees and patrons were all nice and friendly. A wifi hot spot and a nice music room for anyone to play on the piano or guitar. Beautiful flowers and outside seating with umbrellas. One of my partner plans on coming back with his wife.

Stopped in for lunch and WiFi. Chicken burrito and Chiquita Chicken Melt sandwich were excellent, fresh brewed iced tea and fresh squeezed lemonade topped off a perfect lunch on the patio. =)
