PLEASE READ!!!! It took me a few days to write this post because of how shocked and disgusted I was with this place Town and Country Cafe and the people who work there, especially the owner. I never felt so mistreated in my life, EVER!!! My sister and I went there for breakfast with our three little ones five, three and two year olds. We arrived at 11:30am. A waitress named Dayna glanced at us four times without acknowledging us. No "Ill be right with you" or even a smile. We waited at the door until 12:15pm. After approaching her to be seated because there was a table with no one on it for a party of five exactly our size that was empty for 20 minutes, she said "HOLD ON", with a attitude and mean look! We then waited some more. Dayna passed by me and said "EXCUSE ME, CAN YOU MOVE OVER THERE?!" I couldnt believe how unprofessional and mean she was. Right then my instinct told me to leave but I didnt cause my kids were really hungry and needed to eat. We waited patiently. I asked to speak to a manager and a manager came. I told her what happened and that weve been waiting without being approached. She apologized and sat us down. I also told her how uncomfortable the waitress Dayna made us feel. She then apologized again and took our order. My kids ordered eggs, pancakes and bacon. My sister and I ordered with the manager also. While waiting for our food the whole atmosphere got really uncomfortable, Dayna whispering to other waitress and even the cook came out and looked at us. HOW AWKWARD!!!! After sitting there waiting for our food for 15 minutes the manager came out and bent down and said "Im sorry the owner told me to tell you guys that we are unable to serve you." My mouth dropped! I wanted to cry. I felt turned away for no reason! I asked why and she said "Im sorry I dont know why". She said that the waitress Dayna went back and called the owner and was really stressed and emotional person". What !?!? How does that have anything to do with me and my three young children that needed to eat!!! I didnt know where to put my face, we got up and left with our kids. While walking out our kids kept saying "but mom we order food, why are we leaving"? I didnt know what to say. I never like them to feel bad so I told my kids they ran out of food:( and that we had to go somewhere else:( when I got home I broke down my husband looked at me and flipped out. He asked me what was wrong and I told him. He then called the restaurant and asked for the owners information. They gave him the owners email and name Mike so my husband emailed him and asked if he can call him back. When the owner Mike called back my husband asked why he made the decision of kicking his wife and kids out. He said that the waitress Dayna was under distress and that he didnt know what to do at the time. That he was lost. My husband let him know that was the wrong thing to do. He told my husband Im sorry and and my husband just hung up with him. I would never step foot in that place again! I felt judged and mistreated an unfavorable opinion and feeling formed beforehand, without knowledge, thought, or reason!

What we got : Cinnamon lovers French toast - Nothing but an enhanced Cinnabon (2 pieces) but tasted really good, it had a proper crunch mixed with the right amount of sweetness and topped with powdered sugar. Price $8.95, a bit expensive for an average sized two pieces but nevertheless the flavor was good. Overall 3.5 stars Matts meat lovers omelet - The omelette in itself was bland with just a hint of salt to go with, filling was good with the combination of roasted ham, sausage , bacon pieces etc. But again the quantity of the filling was less than what IHOP / Black Bear/ Dennys offers. Comes with a side of bread (really bad), gravy & potatoes which was awesome. Overall 3 stars. Pancakes - They have removed pancakes on the side from the menu (blacked out by pen) so when we did order a to-go this wasnt mentioned & got to know only when we went into pay, nothing special but plain old pancake. Overall 2 stars It was an Ok place to be if you want to support local business, have breakfast in a laid back mode with ample seating & friendly service then it is worth a try. Food itself is not bad but at the same time nothing to rave about, so its a perfect 3 star experience.

So after all the rave reviews in last weeks paper my hubs and I decided to try this place out . First off just let me say the servers were very friendly . However , the food took forever , larger parties and others that came in after us were seated and got their food well before we did . My husband ordered a breakfast , and I ordered a sandwich. It wasnt clear on the menu if the sandwich had tomatoes so I ordered them to be added . I asked for no lettuce , and got a crapload of it . It also wasnt clear if the sandwich was served cold or hot . I assumed hot, I got cold . Not a big deal but all you could taste on this thing was the cheese , which I had to remove so I could taste the roast beef . I also had to remove the bacon because it was so over cooked a person would break a tooth trying to bite through it . The fries were cold .. My husbands biscuits actually never came. The tag came to just over $29 for a steak breakfast , a sandwich plate that included fries and 2 drinks .. btw the soda machine needs adjustments , and they have the most uncomfortable chairs ever . Seriously , get some cushions . Horribly disappointed :(

I came in here for some breakfast for a meeting with my staff. First of all we waited at the door after signing in for quite some time while the host went back and fourth for no apparent reason. There were plenty of tables opened. When we were finally acknowledged and sat down the waitress walked up and asked us for drinks. We ordered coffee and she came back with some very cold bitter coffee. We returned our coffee and asked for water. Every time my staff partners asked for something this waitress would come back after a long while. We all had to get back to work. It seems like the people who work here are running around and not quite serving anyone. There was a man that kept coming out of the kitchen who seemed to look like the chef several times and kept rubbing his nose and mouth with his hands and going in and out of the kitchen. My staff and I were very turned off by the place and will not be returning. We told the waitress we had to leave and walked out.

Great food and great service. The menu isnt extensive, the staff members are friendly, and the owner makes it a point to come out of the kitchen to greet his guests. It can get busy at times, and one Mothers Day, we had to wait an hour to eat. But most times, you come in, seat yourself, and can be in and out within an hour. I especially love the decor. It almost looks like someone opened a restaurant in their home. I love their eggs Benedict, and they have a few different versions to choose from. Their breakfast burritos and omelettes are stuffed to the gills. Their burgers are huge. And their desserts are awesome. The price is also decent and not much different than youd spend at a chain restaurant.
