I was referred to this bar for karaoke about a month ago. I decided to try it on a Wednesday night. When I arrived there were only a few cars and I was a little apprehensive. When I looked through the door there were only a few people and no one like me. I decided to go in anyway and sat down. it did not take long for others to come up and introduce themselves and all were friendly. The KJ came up to me and asked if I wanted to sing. The KJ has a wide variety of songs and was knowledgeable about sound quality. I have gone back several times since then and enjoy myself. I wanted a drink but there was no waitress so I went to the bar and got my own. There is one bartender but she does a great job of keeping up with the customers. After a week she remembered what I drink and brings it before I order it. It is a cool place for a single female. I feel completely comfortable and safe when I am there.

The first of this year Slam Dunks was claimed by a new owner and it was just what it needed. The bar has a whole new atmosphere. The bartenders are friendly and welcoming. The karaoke is awesome and the bands are fun. The costumers that go in there are always enjoying themselves, and you can walk up to anyone and make a new friend. I love this bar. As a woman that goes out alone sometimes, I always feel safe here.

Great bar. The bartender was great. She was alone most of the night and had one helper during the real peak hours but she still did amazing! The karaoke was top notch. Unlimited library of songs, fun KJ, and the sound system was good. We had a great time here and the crowd was safe, fun, and in an excellent mood! We will be back for sure

Im new to area and 1st & only bar I visited and I go in at 3 times during the week. Awesome Bartenders RED aka Deena. She is a sparkplug and is so lively. The Regulars are nice friendly and make you feel welcomed. I highly recommend SLAM DUNKS to everyone. .

Slam Dunks has been completely revamped. They opened up the whole bar so it seems larger. Theres good cheap drinks and they have great karaoke on Thursdays and Saturdays. If youre looking for a laid back atmosphere and friendly people, this is the place for you.
