Im visiting from out of town. Ordered shrimp cocktail to my surprise it wasnt what i expected frozen baby shrimps just pour into a glass with clamato also orderes their fish tacos the filet was frozen as well no seasoning along with the salsa, and the tortilla chips pre-package. And forgot to mentioned the refried beans "NO BUENO/NOT GOOD". And by the way food was pricey.

Quite possibly the worst Mexican Ive had in 5 years. Yes Taco bell is a lot better. The chicken had zero flavor, the shrimp is freezer burned, mole was literally watered down, and how does a Mexican restaurant get beans wrong? I dont think the chefs know what a little salt is either. Literally nothing was seasoned. If youre desperate pickup something at a gas station.

We really liked this place. The service was really good. They have a nice outdoor patio to sit outside. There is also a bar with tvs to watch. We sat on the patio. I had the Napa Valley quesadia which was fantastic. We also ordered the higher grade margaritas which were very good. We went back the next day and had dinner again.

The old location with the old chefs are missed. The location it is now is closer to town which now has lost its out of the way atmosphere. Too close to the highway.. Food doesnt taste as it used to.. Even so I come here for sentimental reasons. The prices are good. The customer service hit or miss..

Dont get me wrong the food here was awesome. Too bad the horrible service ruined any of the great food we ate. We had to ask for everything that was brought to us and we didnt even get our drinks before the food was brought out. I would only ever eat there again if they had a take out option.

Typical mexican theme cuisine, great margaritas and food was what you would expect from a tiny place on the side of the highway. Server Barbara was nice and quick! If you are looking for affordable food before heading to wineries up in Napa id recommend for an easy, no nonsense meal

Not sure what theyre trying to be. The service was below average and the food wasnt much better. We were staying next door at the ivey hotel and were told by locals when we were asking about nexican and tex-mex that it wasnt very good. I wished we had listened.

Norm has the restaurant business down. The Red Hen is a Napa institution that has been here forever. Good service, good food, good surroundings. Especially if youre 20-something and you like noise and partying out on the deck! Fantastic bar, decent prices.

This place used the great as a cantina. Now that they have switched to a bar and grill the food has taken a hard dive. My family and I loved the outdoor seating and the food. After the last visit we vowed to never come back.

If you like Mexican food....dont eat here. Bland salsa, unseasoned fajitas, poor frozen margaritas, chips like out of a bag, even the jalapenos had no flavor. Ive eaten better at Taco Bell and it cost a lot less.

I LOVED this restaurant the night my friend and I decided to eat out. I had a very tasty Carne Asada dish. The salsas were fresh and tasty. We sat out othe heated patio, had great service and a comfortable dinner

The waitress was rude and the home fries were raw. Plus alot of banging around by the staff. Changes do need to be made. I usually have a nice experience at Red Hen. Not this time, unfortunately

Specifically looked up their hours. Wanted to come for breakfast with a group of seven. Hours say open from 6:30-10:30pm. It does not say that they stop serving breakfast at 10:30. Annoyed!

Great service! Wasnt packed for a Saturday night. Food was good, Paul was our server and he was very attentive. Margarita needed a bit of doctoring but it turned out good. Im stuffed and happy!
