I should have taken pictures of the meal, but it smelled so good that I forgot about the pic and dove right in. Incredible, incredible! We started with the pear salad that tasted so fresh. Great way to wake up the taste buds. I had the white bean cassoulet with duck confit, braised pork, and Italian sausage. So perfect on a cold winters night. Gigantic portion that I was gleeful to take home the other half that I couldnt finished. My wife had the short rib Risotto with Cabernet glazed mushrooms. So yummy! As stuffed as we were, we had to try their version of the hot fudge sundae that was sprinkled with peanut brittle and brandied cherries. Surprisingly or not surprisingly, we finished it. Our waiter, Jason, was terrific and friendly even though we were not locals as most of the customers are. His description of the dishes made me want everything on the menu. Next time you are in Napa, skip the expected experience and try this little gem.

Wanted to sit outside since it was a nice day, first mistake, unless you like hearing Hwy 29 traffic. Service was soooo slow, and there was only one other party, OK, well two, they already had their food. However, once our server FINALLY came over after about 15 minutes, he asked us the usual, "Can I get you started with something to drink?" Are you kidding? We had better order the whole meal and ask for the check! Ha-ha! Once we did get out order in, it was brought out in a timely fashion by friendly staff so no complaints there. First impression, was just alright. Will most likely not return and stay with one of our old standbys, "Cuvee" in Napa on Soscol Ave. Check it out.

Took my honey here after a day of Whiskey tasting at OxBow (also HIGHLY recommend this whether you have always or have never been a big liquor fan; why? Educated, friendly hipster-guides teach you how to enjoy your drink properly w/o the burn and they sell locally made Gin, Vodka made from grapes -DELISH!!- and of course whiskeys. An experience to remember) But back to the food here, I cant remember exactly what we ordered (slightly tipsy, teehee) but it was all delicious and the steak was perfect, and the Mac n Cheese was AMAZING. Go for the Mac,at the very least. Youll not be disappointed.

We really want to like this place since we can walk there from our house and the patio is dog friendly. Unfortunately our last few experiences have been lackluster. My most recent meal was the dinner special and it had definitely been sitting under a heat lamp. It was dry and overly salty. For $25 a plate, there are plenty of other restaurants nearby which are tremendously better. The dog menu for our pup is great, however the filet of salmon he got looked better than my dinner. The food is mediocre at best. Given your other options in Napa, give another place a try.

Went on a Saturday night for a late dinner. This feels like a place thats about 5 years past its prime. The hosts and service are struggling. There are a couple tasty items -- but the whole menu is full of items that were trendy when Obama and McCain were on the campaign trail. Some of the dishes were just plain poor, like the dressing-soaked pear salad, which had scarcely any pear or candied nuts. Cocktails were poorly done as well. This place needs a menu refresh and to hire some kitchen talent.

Im an aspiring Michelin-star chef. That being said, Id like to say the food/flavoring is solid, and the variety of foods they have as a bistro is just enough to allow you to come back and try something new. The only downfall of my visit was that my party of 2 did not receive promotional service, and our male server seemed rushed and slightly agitated. Food came out quite promptly, as well as drinks. They dont have too many beers of draft but they carry bottles and also carry a nice wine list.

First time happy hour visit was a mixed experience of some nice, pleasant service and a clique of local guy affectation. The bar is small, crowded with a slew of friends and I was, as a single person slowly acknowledged. So, not recommended for the newcomers, and the establishment probably doesnt care away. The happy hour fish sticks were so so.

Expensive, but totally worth it. I opted to have the salad buffet plus meat, but when I got to the buffet the food was so good I could have just filled up on that. The staff were attentive and soon came round with more meat courses when Id finished the previous round. Some of the cuts of beef were superb - some of the best Ive ever had.

What a beautiful, tasteful place to eat! Presentation was wonderful, we had the ahi Tuna appetizer as well as the roasted pepper appetizer and several other delicious foods. Ended the night with the peach parfait thing... Amazing! Its been a while since I ate at such a nice place but the waitstaff was great! Very sweet people!

Atmosphere is comfortable. You sit and almost immediately immerse yourself into confort. Brandy was our server, please request while you visit, and was cordial, attentive, informed but above all polished in her craft. Food was great and really loved their local wine list. Do try for a confort bite. Cheers!

Nice little place with good food. Waitstaff was nice and Knowledgeable of menu choices. Reservation via open table. Confirmed but canceled by restaurant the day of the reservation. Lucky for us the restaurant was not full. Asked why canceled and the response was he did not know why. I would eat here again.

A fantastic combination of food, service, and atmosphere. Had the Onion rings (wow), Sunday stew special(delicious and complex), and ice cream sandwiches (wow!). Wonderful way to enjoy comfort food that isnt pretentious for a great value. Cant wait to come back!

We were there last fall and the place was packed. As it turns out, it was packed with locals. ALWAYS a good sign. We didnt lick our plates clean, but it was pretty close. The food was great, the service was great. Our best dining experience in Napa.

The service here is ridiculously good. Very professional and fast. Add the great food and voila! Try the oysters Rockefeller or wasabi infused tuna to start and then go with a turf dish and you cant go wrong.

Brunch menu is really good, prices not too bad either. Americano was good! Everyone enjoyed their time and meals. Funny comment but the restroom is really nice! Easy street or lot parking.

Delicious food and great ambiance! The Rosemary Chicken dish was delicious; although, I didnt have the goat cheese mashed potatoes - they didnt have the cheese - the food was delicious.

Make sure you make reservations in advance because the wait can be lengthy! Service was a bit slow because of the crowd, but food was delicious. I highly recommend the fettuccine!

The food was delicious. The staff was great. We had a large party of people. And the staff was so gracious to accommodate what we were asking of them.
