I dont know why people are giving this place high reviews.... it must be the ambiance of a restaurant being by the river. I first ordered a Margarita..... a blended Margarita. It came in a TUMBLER GLASS. This is the first time I have ever seen a blended Margarita in a TUMBLER GLASS. The waiter said they have always done this, and he doesnt know why. Well, let me clue you in..... Two TUMBLER GLASSES = One margarita glass. That means $13.00 total for a regular Margarita in a Margarita glass...... that is if they had a Margarita glass. I then ordered the pollo relleno, and my wife ordered the taco salad. It took forty minutes to get our food, and the waiter told us he that there was some problem with our orders. I think the problem was that the Chef DIDNT KNOW HOW TO MAKE A POLLO RELLENO. The menu described the dish as a thick chicken, pounded thin, rolled around a chile with Jack Cheese and spices on black beans. What I got was a huge chicken breast sitting on black beans with very small and very few pieces of green chile on the breast. I showed the waiter, and he said that is how they make it. I then got up and retrieved the menu..... and read it to the waiter. I asked him where the jack cheese was and where the rest of the green chile was, and why the chicken was so big. He asked me if I wanted to change my order. Sorry, but I have a thing about sending back food..... I think I have seen the movie "Waiting" one too many times. My wife did not eat the Chicken Taco salad because of the disgusting dressing. Bland Bland Bland Bland food. What a waste of $60 and a total disappointment.

Their drinks bearly have alcohol in them . The food is dry. Look @ the pixs? People like MOIST food. Rice is dry enough. If it is cooked right, it will be moist, especially spanish rice. It is like they use chinese white rice and throw coloring in it. Awful. Beans are dry with no juice. DRY DRY FOOD. IS IT going to break them to use juices. These pixs r awful looking food. Straight up. As I look at these photos, I would only pick 1 thing, in all those pixs. THEIR food is way over priced, for not having good cooks. Dry food is not tasty and it does not look appetizing at all. People like to go to places where, they get 2 oz of alcohol in their drinks. Like Trancas Steak House. *Long pour @ Applebees during happy hr. Friedas will get u buzzed on 2 drinks. Olive Tree too, good drinks. Not saying that is the reason to go, but this place, u cannot even taste the alcohol at all..@ Compadres. Sad that they think this way. They would have more happy customers if they would listen.

Best fish tacos, the actual fish was beautiful and fresh. However they werent as organized as possible, our reservation was messed up and placed in the worst spot next to the bar during NBA finals (which they shouldve mentioned they were hosting the game and it would be nuts down there) It was SOOOO LOUD that we couldnt hear each other talk and a drunken moron kept bumping into our table I bout drug his ass out n dealt with it myself since no employees did! This was an anomaly tho because of the game, I know, but over all great food, smiling pretty waitresses and the embarrassing birthday thing they do for you is so fun!!

Food was good, but the service was incredibly slow and it was definitely NOT a family atmosphere given the loud table of drunk people behind us. When we raised our concern to the manager, he stared at us blankly as if he had no idea how to handle a concern from a customer - when pushed he nearly got into a fight with my husband and behaved the most unprofessionally I have ever seen anyone in management behave. Completely unacceptable way to handle customers - I guess customer service is dead at Campadres. Definitely do not go here.

Just awful. Folks, change the oil in the fryer ! It tastes years old. Tiny portions, horrendous rice, bland meat, at ridiculously inflated prices. $17 for a burrito ? Seriously ? Dont bother with the menu descriptions because your food never resembles what you think that youve ordered. The place is so understaffed that the poor servers are forced to run around like headless chickens. Meanwhile, a simple lunch on a normal weekday can take and hour and a half. Dont waste your money or time here. Seriously, mind-blowingly ridiculous.

Only reason Im giving 3 and not 2 was because our waitress was so nice and worked very hard. Great example of a waitress, however the food here was very disappointing. Salsa was bland tomato sauce, tortillas were store-bought, and the beef fajitas were 75% uncooked onions/bell peppers and 25% over cooked tiny pieces of meat. Avoid this place if youre looking for fresh Mexican food. Tequila was good, though at least!

Food and drinks are amazing. Jason the bartender always makes the best drinks and the food never disappoints. Check out their daily deals. They have margarita Monday and aloha Friday (comes with complimentary Maui nachos that are delicious!). They also have gluten free and vegetarian options listed on their menu, although not recommended for celiac or extreme gluten sensitivity.

This is a great Mexican restaurant with wonderful atmosphere. The service was excellent and where in the world can you get both great Mexican food and delicious pancakes/bacon because they serve both of these items at this great spot!!! We ate out on the patio which is delightful with the river view!! The margs were strong with great flavor!!!

Taco Tuesday is amazing. The manager Dave instantly made a friend with Jason and Courtney on their Fare Thee Well dinner as she is back off to Tennessee for a short two months stay. All hail Compadres we are making that our go-to destination in Napa. The waiter, might I add, was also exceptionally accommodating to all of our needs.

I have been a loyal Customer for a long time. The menu has lots of choices. As soon as you are sat they bring out warn chips with excellent Salsa. I usually order the Enchiladas. Good Margaritas.

The food is horrible there. Worst Mexican food Ive ever had in my life. It made me sick for days. Big portions but nasty.

I had fish tacos. They were OK. Admittedly, I am a SoCal mexican food snob. The ambiance and the vibe is great.
