Just had the worst experience Ive ever had at a restaurant, and those who know me and have dined with me know Im not a complainer and if something is wrong I will usually overlook it and continue enjoying my meal. I went with a group of friends to Las Palmas on Yajome Street in Napa and my friend bought a chicken chimichanga for me. The entertainment was good and the waiter was very polite. When the waiter brought water to the table I began to drink from the glass and realized something was obstructing my straw. I looked into the bottom of the glass and found a skin slice of an onion in the bottom of the water. This disgusted me and so I stopped drinking the water and waited for my food. When the food came I began to cut into the chimichanga. The contents inside were slimy and Luke warm. I stopped eating it after two bites. I hoped for the best and tried to ignore the consistency of everything until I started finding raw chicken meat. I pulled out some of the meat and set it aside but I began becoming repulsed. The waiter came to the table and I notified him of the undercooked meat. The meat was slimy and pink. He took the chimichanga back to the kitchen and after a few minutes returned to the table with news from management. He said that the meat was roasted and it was "cooked" and management could see nothing wrong with what they served me. He asked me if they could substitute anything else for me. The whole table of six people in my party saw that meat and all agreed it was undercooked and the management of this place was basically calling us liars. By this time I wasnt feeling hungry anymore but the person paying for the meal insisted I try again. I asked for meat that was cooked. The waiter notified me that it would cost $1.75 extra for cooked chicken meat. I said "why should I have to pay for the meat to be cooked?" The waiter insisted that the previous chimichanga had cooked meat inside and that this was the way things were. I went ahead and ordered another one with cooked chicken meat with encouragement from my friends. They brought another chimichanga which was now delicious with cooked chicken meat inside. I was able to stomach this one. Upon departing the restaurant there was a question about the total of the bill and the management became combative at this point. They argued with us again about the chimichanga and how payment was to be made. They told us we were wrong and said things like "go ahead and put it in yelp" basically daring us to do something about it. Then they followed us outside the restaurant and continued to argue with us outside of the front door. There was a tall man and a very short woman who were both extreamly rude. They were both telling us that we were wrong and that there was nothing wrong with the food. The short lady kept getting into my personal space to tell me I was wrong and there was no reason for her to do that. Our waiter was reasonable and tried to accommodate us but these two other people were telling him to go back inside and continued to argue with us. There was also a 16 year old waiter that kept telling us to go ahead and put it on yelp. Obviously these people will not have me as a return customer and need to understand that if its wrong you dont argue with the customer, you make it right. They just lost a whole bunch of local business and I hope that none of my friends ever go to this place. If I get sick Im definitely calling the health department, and Im already feeling sick.

We were at the Napa Outlets craving some Mexican food and looked up Las Palmas. This place has a really nice setting, food was amazing, staff was very professional and clean. The bar tender mixed really great drinks, over all this place is everything you would like from drinks to authentic Mexican foods. I will definitely revisit this place. And it was reasonably priced, the average plate was between 10 to 15 bucks.

Awesome! Food was fantastic; carne asada and fajitas were tender and were delicious. Chicken quesadilla was excellent. Top shelf service from our waiter made the lunch even better; better service here than most "5-star" places in Napa area. This place IS a "5-star"+ experience you dont want to miss.

Excellent food, very friendly service. Great spot for a quick bite or to linger over drinks for a while. Very interesting menu with tone or authentic Mexican favorites and some great Asian-jnspired choices as well. The Torta Milanesa is awesome ! A favorite spot.

I just moved back to Napa after a few years in Mexico, and I am excited to go back to one of my favorite spots. The owner is a great guy, and let me tell you, this guy knows how to cook! Great place to try something new because it never disappoints.

Food is not bad...burritos are good. Service is somewhat sporadic, sometimes great sometimes its not. Usually a place for locals to eat. If youre not familiar with the area you will not find this place unless you are specifically looking for it.

Excellent food, excellent serice, good prices, really friendly service. The only reason I didnt 5 star it is because of its location. Not exactly where youd expect to find it, but that could be a good thing. Can I give 4.5 stars?

If you desire excellent: food, wait staff, prices, and lack of tourist, than I heartily recommend Las Palmas. Last night was about my sixth return to this restaurant and ordered the double cut pork chop; best ever.

This is the best Mexican restaurant in Napa. Juan the owner is there everyday making fresh authentic Mexican food. The carnitas is my personal favorite. The sea food is good and make sure to try the pair salad.

Food is tasty. A little on the sweeter side than I am used to for Mexican. Food came out fast and was not as hot(temp) as it should have been but otherwise good!
