We have been going to this restaurant for 14 years. We have always had great service and great food. Today is mothers day and we went expecting the same as always. There was only two or three tables seated when we got there, but they sat our party in the back/side. We were forgotten. We had to wait for everything for a long time. My son asked for sweetener for his tea.. wait time over 15 minutes. We had to ask twice. Napkins about the same wait, again we had to ask twice. I motioned for anyone to come over four times after we got a box for the leftovers, 15 minutes wait for the check. Another 10 minute wait for someone to come and get the check. My son ordered tea and because he asked for another tea bag we were charged twice. Two tea bags for 6 bucks. Finally after all the waiting we took the check and payment up to the front, but know one was there. I had to go back through the restaurant and ask someone to come and take the money so we could go. He was too busy, he had to ask someone else to take the check. By the way our waiter was also so rude with a chip on his shoulder. Visually frustrated when wed ask for anything. We never leave without tipping but omg this was unfortunately a really bad experience.... what happened?? After 14 years of patronage I feel like not going back again.

They lost our business tonight! This place is the most convenient to where we live and they are open until 11pm during the week. Food is decent. We arrived at 10:10 pm and upon walking in, was told "Sorry, we are closed." Outside, I checked out the business hours and it did say 11pm. So, I went back in. The "host" was at the bar, along with a couple of customers (including a guy that had walked in a minute before we did). He walked towards me and I asked him if he was aware that the sign next to the door says they close at 11pm. He replied "I know." I told him that it was only 11:15 now. He said "I know." His voice was monotone and he acted like he really didnt care. I was shocked that he was turning us away...and said "We come here a lot because you guys are open late." He said.... Yep, you know his response: "I know." I mustve had an irritated look on his face cuz he followed that "I know" with an explanation: it had been slow tonight. No, it had been slow all day. Well, we were there to give him business! Turning away business? Okay, so we went to another local Mexican food place and they happily took our business. They deserve one star...since they do have yummy and very different cabbage salsa with their chips. But, their customer service was at an all time low tonight. So disappointed.

My friends and I went late at night to Los Portrillos and there was one server there. One member of our group ordered a margartita and no food and the server was obviously upset by this because throughout our dinner the server kept badgering our friend about ordering a meal. The server filled our chip basket half full so we asked for three refills on chips. By the third refill he said "Im going to start charging you $3.50 for chips". And we all laughed and then I was like oh wait, hes serious. Youre gonna charge us three dollars and fifty cents for ten chips. That sounds like quite the deal. Is it difficult for you to acquire more chips? Are you slaving away, hand pressing them in the back? Cause all I saw was you texting on your phone at the bar. Are you texting in new orders for chips? Cause maybe you guys ran out and you have to make them last for the other customers that come in at 10:30 pm. If I go there again Im gonna bring a bag of tostitos and ask for a basket to pour them in. The food was good though.

Food was GREAT; very tasty, fresh, and portion sizes were big. The margaritas were in very healthy sized portions as well. The decor is simple yet fun and lively; the bar is separated from the main dining area which I liked because it separated the two different (but appropriate) ambiance. The staff members were very friendly, checked on us frequently to make sure everything was good. As a side note, when the waiter/waitress tells you the plate is hot, that sucker is HOT HOT HOT. My girlfriend burned her forearm on the plate from being distracted; however it was a minor burn and the staff members brought over band aids/ice cubes/burn ointments right away and wanted to give us a free drink on the house, which we declined as it was not the restaurants fault that she touched the plate. This is a very cute and new restaurant, from what we have seen it will be destined for success and we will be sure to frequent it more.

My husband and I along with our daughter have been going to this restaurant since they were at their original location off of Mill Plain and Park Crest. We were happy for them to upgrade, but alas, their service and quality of food has taken a turn for the worst. The staff isnt as friendly, the salsa portions are smaller and they seem annoyed if you ask for more, and the food comes so fast that you dont get to enjoy the chips, salsa, and your drinks. Everything seems so hurried and the staff stare from the side as if being annoyed that we are still there. Also, they used to serve strawberry and honey drizzled sopapillas after your food and they stopped doing it! We have been so loyal and used to tell everyone to go here; it was the little personal things that kept us coming back. Its just sad....:(

My favorite mexican restaurant. The service is AMAZING!! Been about 30 times (once on my birthday with 20 people) & its never been bad. The grande Margaritas are delicious.... so worth the money...there is actually alcohol in them.... they say they are the best tequila bar in Camas/Vancouver it is so true! They serve Dos Equis Amber on tap...which is my favorite beer. The cheese dipbis delicious....we add ground beef to ours. My favorites & must trys are the Mexican pizza, coconut shrimp, Arroz con Pollo (delicious), three horses, and their rice (add cheese & onions of course) is fluffy & good. I didnt really care for their mole....fish tacos...or the Mexican stew. Definitely recommend if your looking for Amazing service....a knock you on your butt Margaritta or best mexican in the area!!!

Awful, just awful. My daughters taco had a very stale shell, no flavor in the refried beans, pinto beans, or rice. Just bland. The service was even worse. While we were trying to get our waiter another guy came by and asked if we needed anything, we asked for a to go container. The next thing I see is my waiter and the other guy outside smoking. Then the other guy takes my waiters car for a spin. 10 minutes later the other guy shows back up with my containers. In the meantime I asked for the manager, the other guy is the manager. What a joke. After i complained to the manager about what was wrong with everything, our meal was free, we didnt take the leftovers. Never going back.
