Awesome! Visiting California and wanted GOOD Chinese food. But, havent had good luck. Visiting the owner of Eddies Shooting Sports before heading back out to Idaho, we asked what hed recommend. We decided Chinese would travel better than Mexican food. I was hungry, but my husband was not yet hungry. And Chinese would taste better cold. I was really impressed. It only took 10 minutes. The food came in sturdy plastic trays. I went back in and got an extra tray that I could use to dish me out some of each. You can imagine trying to eat out of several containers in the car without spilling. Much easier than the overstuffed typical Chinese carryout cartons. The food was great! I ordered combination fried rice, combination chow mein, and Sweet and Sour chicken. No, they dont have sweet and sour pork. LOL. But, the sweet and sour chicken was fresh, still crispy. The vegetables were NOT overcooked. The shrimp in the rice and chow mein was not scary or questionable. The pieces of meat were large for Chinese food, but in a good way. And they were very nice. Id recommend this place for anyone who has a craving!!! Our friend from Eddies says they have very good traditional Chinese food as well. Like spicy Szechaun dishes.

The food here is average at most compared to other Chinese restaurants in Bay Area. The reason Im giving this place 1 star is as follows: 1) The speed they served our dishes is really slow. It wasnt that crowed the day we went there, but we got our last dish when everyone was done eating. 2) The table where we sit is very close to their kitchen and their sorting/working station. One of my colleagues even felt like we were sitting right In the kitchen. 3) Whats more, they printed tip on the receipt and charged me without my approval. Although its only several dollars, this kind of behavior is disgusting. Therefore I already disputed the charge. I wont come to this place anymore, and I wont recommend this place to anyone. Food: 2.5/5 Atmosphere: 2/5 Service: 0/5

Ordered just ONE Simple dish(pepper with beef) in restaurant with just a few customers, being told dish will be ready in 15 mins. Kept asking and still waited 50+ mins before getting the dish, while customers coming in after me have dishes served and have already eaten for a while. Customer service is not professional, to be specifically, impatient and impolite. Not only that, the price is $16 while the quantity is no more than a cup of coffee, which is ridiculously more expensive compared to restaurant of the same standard.

This is IMHO the most authentic Chinese restaurant around Mountain View area. Usually youll have to wait for half hour during dinner time to be seated, especially on Friday and Saturday night. Theres a parking lot just outside the restaurant, but sometimes its hard to find a spot due to its popularity. Remember that this is a Szechuan-style Chinese restaurant so the dishes tends to be spicy. Confirm each dish with the waiter if you dont like hot food.

One of the more authentic Chinese Szechuan restaurants in the area. The Chongqing chili chicken wings were a bit too bony for my tastes but the flavors were good. The Spicy boiled fish was great though, nice big bowl of chili and very tender fish, definitely packed a lot of flavors without it being overwhelmingly spicy. The TanTan Noodles were a little mushy and sweet, but was pretty good none the less. Overall, highly recommend it

Not a place I will come back again. The deco is old and the lighting reminds me a warehouse than a restaurant. The food is below average, though good portions. My shredded port with pepper got no tastes or bite. The pork with garlic was just plain and no taste at all. You got to work hard to mess up such simple dishes. I asked for a beer. The waiter pull one out the cooler behind me, bit it was room temperature.

Good Szechuan food, though much of it is too spicy for my American palette. My Chinese friends love it. If you like spicy, try the giant bowl of fish in broth with chilies. (Half the tables in the restaurant were having it.) If you dont want spicy, the Generals Chicken and the stir fried string beans are great. The cucumber in garlic sauce appetizer is good (garlicky but not hot), as are the dumplings.

Food was really great, everything was very tasty. I had to wait over half an hour to be seated, without hearing a single word of English, but it was worth it! Still, arriving earlier would probably have been a good idea. Also, it is probably better to not go there alone, soup was very good but not intended for only one person.

Its a simple no frills szechuan restaurant that is always busy and the food is great there. I strongly recommend trying at least the cumin lamb as well as the stir fried green beans. They provide tasty hot tea but offer water as well. I would recommend going there if youre itching for szechuan food around Mountain View !

I didnt know Szechuan cuisine before walking in, so I cant really tell if its genuine or not. But there are only Chinese folks eating here so I assume it is :-). I enjoyed my plate and it was pretty cheap. As a bonus, you can choose between water or hot tea pot! I think some waiters speak barely English.

不用多说,跟四川大排档一个味道。还需要说啥不?唯一不足的是,毛血旺用的牛血,太老!

Used to be OK, but now it will definitely make you feel regret. The recently experience there was the worst one I have ever had. The food was terrible and absolutely different as it used to be. I will never go back again.

First and foremost the food here is very tasty indeed. Secondly its very spicy. Lastly dont be daunted if you dont speak Chinese: they do have an English menu. :-) Inexpensive, and with very generous portions, too!

Surprisingly excellent Chinese food. The dan dan mein are probably the best Ive had. The sautéed string beans are excellent. Order dishes youve liked at any Chinese restaurant and these will probably be better.

Very authentic! My wife and I went here on the recommendation of a friend. We were not disappointed. Get the Spicy Hot Sirloin (its like hot pot, super spicy)! So freaking good!

I stopped in to use the restroom. The place was quiet and nice. The staff very friendly and didnt have an issue with my using the restroom even though I wasnt a customer.

Great authentic and delicious cuisine which has a fair amount of the siquan style meals which are often spicy which is nice for those of us who enjoy spicier meals.

Awesome food, not US-ified Chinese. Spicy Lamb was great, as was Mapo Tofu. Many options involving tripe and intestine as well as more typical noodle dishes, etc.

Spring rolls are not great, but the beef & broccoli and rice was great. No dinner plates for dinner, so eating alone is not ideal unless you are in a soup mood.

everything is Very Spicy but the food is amazing. the dishware is plastic and the setting is a bit shabby but the food and warm atmosphere make up for it

Food is tasty and portion is big. However the price is higher and the plates are dirty. tea cup we used was having some food left out there.
