What a find! After helping me move in, a friend pointed out this restaurant to me because it was close to the Uhaul rental. It seemed empty and I wasnt expecting much, as I am particular about the way my Chinese food tastes as I am from an Asian family, but we were in for a surprise. The fried squid we had and the sauce that came with it were expertly made. Unlike other fried items and squid Ive had, the dish was crisp and not overly chewy. The fried fish we had was also delicious, with a little seasoning added for flavor, and the sauce on the broccoli/barbeque pork I had was delicious. While the portions looked a little small at first glance, we ended up having leftovers at the end, which was perfect for a late night snack. There are some downsides to the place. The facility might not look like much (as others said, the building seems a little outdated) and there was a fly buzzing around. However, it is my opinion that only a person looking for an excuse to trash on the place would fault them for these things. Flies are normal/uncontrollable at times, and the restroom being outside likely helps with the sanitation of the dining area. In the areas that mattered (taste, service, cleanliness of the dining area), this place scored highly in my book. For someone not used to traditional Chinese restaurants, one might be perturbed at the lack of smiles, but the hostess was attentive in all the ways that actually mattered, making sure she was just on time for water, boxes, and the food was delivered quickly. Im excited that my friend and I found this place and we have plans to bring our other friends along. Prices are middle of the line, not too expensive but also not cheap, so we intend on going routinely but not daily. If you enjoy traditional Chinese food with fresh ingredients, you owe it to yourself to give this place a try.

The service wasnt bad, although it IS a Chinese takeout place so you dont expect much (ambience or service wise). However, the food quality was below than average, and even ran a little pricier than most cheap Chinese restaurants. My fried rice came out a little too quickly to have had much effort put in, like ridiculously quickly, and that was evident in the food. It was underfried, barely fried, actually, and parts were even cold. The chicken was undercooked, and you could just tell the whole dish was thrown into a pan right out of the fridge. We also ordered the chow fun, which was also not impressive. Not horrible, but we were left pretty disappointed as a whole.

Something changed? We always loved this place for our Family Chinese Night take out. But when my friend and I dined in the other night, our Dinner become something we wanted to forget. 1. Flies at large in the Dining Room. 2. They did not make what we ordered and requested us to take what they made instead. No offer to make adjustment on our bill, either. 3. They accused my $20 bill was a bad money in front of everyone. (Bank of America next day said it was just old bill and still valid.) We found this experience to be very difficult to take. Maybe we should have stick to take-out.

They have been around a long time. It was quiet here for Saturday lunch. The food was decent, not fancy. I did not try the bathrooms. I would eat here again. Drinks are not fountain drinks, they come out of a cooler and you ca pick them yourself. They have a large bottled tea selection. The only diet drink was diet coke. Some teas are unsweetened, I cannot say for sure if they offer sugar substitute.

The best "family style" Chinese Ive had. Their seafood is exceptionally fresh (owners sister owns Chinese grocery store in SJ) and our favorite dishes are: tofu in wicker basket, Mongolian Lamb, fish fillet in blackbean sauce, and their garlic eggplant is tasty. They dont use much oil. I highly recommend them.

The food here is pretty good and authentic enough. The portions are very generous. I’ve dined here once, but typically will take food to go. So that said I don’t remember too much about the service, but to be fair service usually isn’t a priority in a Chinese restaurant.

I really like this place. The food is great; the proportions are good, the flavors are on point and the staff is so kind. Beware though: The menu posted on the Google location is incorrect! Get a menu from inside to be safe.

Farm to market freshness, seriously fast and no skimpy portions, very fair prices verses this top quality taste. :-) Came here again 02/27/17 Got the beef curry, melt in your mouth, creamy and perfectly spiced.

Good beef or fish rice porridge but for $10 you can save a few dollars and drive to Hong Kong Bistro on Castro St Mt View, who also has traditional milk tea! They dont here :(

My go to Chinese take out place. I love the pot stickers, the sesame chicken, and the chicken wings. The service is great and they always have a smile on their faces.

Came when the restaurant was not too busy and ordered the scrambled egg and shrimp chow fun. It came out in less than 5 mins which was amazingly fast. Food was good.

Feels good and prices pretty reasonable but i just kick one star off because of the green tea, most people prefer black one..... for free of cost of course!)

This place needs to be inspected (then shut down) by the health department. My wife and I both got extremely sick from eating the Mongolian Chicken here.

Great for take-out. The building and decor are dated. Food is reasonable quality. I usually get the Shrimp with Lobster sauce. For lunch, its a great deal.

Food is good, large menu and the people are nice. Good rendition of Singapore noodles (curry noodles) as either vermicelli or chow fun.
