Ive been going here for decades with my family. The service is alright but admittedly you dont usually look to Palo alto for Chinese food. This place has ok food but but is quite expensive for what it is. The last straw was when we asked for sugar vinegar ribs and got sweet and sour ribs instead and were told that this is what it had always been. I like fake Chinese food just fine when it isnt masquerading as authentic. Real Chinese food doesnt usually have pineapple in it! The bill ended up over $200 for 5 people when we didnt even order that much. $20 for a few pieces of dong po meat. Next time will just suck it up and cook myself or drive to Cupertino.

EDITED ON 3/19/217 Food is still solid but the front desk customer service lately has been horrible. Ive been going there since they opened and the front desk is the worst its been ever. Get it together guys or you are gonna lose a loyal customer! ---- The potstickers are by far the best!!!! I could and do eat them by the dozen! Their XLB are super good too. Oh and when you go there if you like spicy beef, ask for the off menu item (kinda off menu but not really) Andrews Beef!!!! Its SOOOOO good. Its formerly called Dry Braised Beef, but its not on the menu anymore, but I still ask for it and they indulge me.

The food sucks... The receptionist there was arrogant.. They dont pay attention when you order.. This was my personal experience.. We wanted a vegetable fried rice to go.. and we insisted no egg 2-3 times just to be safe.. And when we finally came home and opened it.. it was full of egg.. and we were really so so disappointed ... Could not even call them back as it was 10 in the night and could not even go to any other place ...as it was late.. we were so hungry and soo.. disappointed...so, please check your food before you take it home!

Stuck to the standards. Shrimp fried rice, combo chowmein, garlic chicken, beef with green onions, wonton soup. All mediocre to very bland. Waaaaay too expensive for the experience. Interestingly enough there was a large Asian clientele, so its obviously just not geared towards my Anglo-Saxon taste buds, I guess, although Ive been eating Bay Area chinese food for 40 years. Cant figure this one out and wont be coming here again. Much better out there. Avoid the garlic chicken.

A surprisingly authentic Chinese dining experience in Palo Alto. (They have a separate menu thats only in Chinese -- so bring a friend who reads if you dont, or prepare to do some guessing.) The xiao long bao are quite good, as are the hand-cut noodles. Theyll do Chinese breakfast (but they only open at 11am) -- the warm soy milk, crisp "Chinese doughnuts," etc. Servers were helpful with my half-successful attempts at reading the Chinese menu, and its all pretty reasonably priced.

We have been to the restaurants many times because it is close to us and convenient and food tastes good, nothing really special. But I tried to order some food by phone to pick up today. The person answered the phone was really impatient and not very nice. Well, if my hb does not like to go there, I would rather aviod this kind of attitude.

Dim sum in Silicon Valley? Why yes!!!! If you like chow mein or chow fun, then you simply have to try their Hand shaved noodles. Its a delightful dish that will leave your taste buds screaming for more!!! Everything is wonderful and I am very happy to say that they do not use MSG in their kitchen!!

The Su Hong restaurant owns the entire parking lot and they love to tow cars. We parked there, and ate in their restaurant. When we came out, they had towed our car! They said that they didnt know that it was our car. Ok, thats crazy! The parking lot was empty, by the way.

Spicy fishtail in shanghai brown sauce. Mongolian lamb. Skip the Canonese dishes, this is the place to go for Shanghai-style cooking. I live in Los Angeles, and every time we go to the SF Bay area, we set aside one evening for dinner at Su Hong.

Dont order "shi zi tou" here, it only deserve some name like "meatballs in soy sauce". This place used to be our favorite for southeastern Chinese food, but its declining quality really lets us down now.

I enjoy this place. It is not hardcore Chinatown food, just right for me most of the time. In particular I love the press duck. Not many places still prepare this dish so I always get an order.

Neat and clean environment which Chinese places lack often. Very Shanghainese. Great service. One of the best chinese places in the area in all perspectives. Red braided pork is a must have!

One of our favorite Chinese restaurant in the South Bay. Definitely get the pork shoulder - its to die for. Vegetables are always fresh and the service friendly and helpful.

Food is mediocre but one of the few places that serve salt and pepper pork that is nearby and is good. Hot and sour soup is not so hot or sour but better than most nearby.

Authentic Chinese food. Every time we eat here, at least half of the diners are Asian. The owner is either greeting guests or in the kitchen cooking.

Enjoyed. This place has both English and Chinese menu so if you can read Chinese dont forget to ask! Perhaps a little expensive but good!

Ordered meatballs and this dish got overcooked. The meat got hard and bitter. Paid $17.5 for nothing. Wont come back.

Maybe Americans have a different taste but as a local person to the area in China they make real and decent food

As someone growing up in southern China, I would say their food is pretty decent southern Chinese food.
