I dined here with my childhood friend. We ordered the 2 dinner special for $30. The dinner included: blue crab dumplings, string bean chicken, mongolian beef, egg rice, and fried banana ice cream. In addition to the dinner special, we also ordered the porcupine custard bun. I really enjoyed the blue crab dumplings. However, both main courses: mongolian beef and the string bean chicken, especially had high levels of sodium. I know as a yelp reader, you dont know much about me. I usually dont consume a lot of fluids. But during the dinner, I drank literally 5 cups of water. And the salt was so overwhelming that I could taste the salt even after gulping down the water. Im not sure what it was- the salt, or the MSG, but they killed it (not in a good way!) The fried banana ice cream was delicious though. It was probably the best thing we had all throughout the meal. The porcupine custard bun was great in presentation, but it lacked flavor and was definitely not as tasty as it looks. Overall, it was OK, but I probably wouldnt come back.

Tasty Chinese/Asia Fusion food, cozy, and our server Xiomara was excellent! The decor and overall ambiance was nice and quieter than a typical Chinese restaurant -- less noise than the popular PF Chang across the street. We had warm Gekkeikan Sake (served at body temperature), Oolong Tea, Dim Sum Sampler, Roast Quails, Pot Stickers, Chicken Chinese Salad, Spicy Coconut Soup, Garlic Chili Tilapia, Kung Pao Chicken, Veggie Mu Shu, Chicken Chow Fun, Steamed Rice, Fried Banana and Ice Cream, a Coconut Cassava Bar, and Coffee. Every dish was excellent.

Expect something different, and its a good thing. I had the Lemongrass Lamb Rack. I was expecting the sear with the redux glazed over it. However, what I got was just as delicious, if not better. Im not sure how they cook the lamb, but it tasted as if the redux was infused into the lamb. It was absolutely delicious and tender. Perhaps the lamb is baked with the redux but didnt ask. 4/5 only because I was only given a spoon and fork, no knife. But I made it work. Ill still recommend Ginger to my friends :)

Weve eaten there several times for lunch and dinner. Always an excellent experience. We love the food, drinks and service. The Chinese style with other Asian touches is a favorite of ours. The cafe is fairly small and thus much quieter than many other restaurants. There is also a small patio area that is nice when the weather permits. Highly recommended!

Service was optimistic yet inexperienced. Almost killed me by disregarding my request and putting peanuts in the dish. Food was overpriced and overportioned. Portions were definitely for sharing however the food was subpar. I had the combo fried rice and it tasted like it was worth about 5 dollars. Was 15 dollars. Not coming again.

Ill never go to PF Changs again. I took a business associate here for a meeting. The atmosphere was elegant, the restaurant was quiet enough to actually have a conversation, and the food was excellent AND well priced. I would have been charged far more for a similar meal at PF Changs, and I would have enjoyed it far less.

Delicious! We had salt & pepper prawns, orange beef, pineapple fried rice, orange chicken, crab wontons, egg rolls, chicken buns, ginger basil beef, shaken beef, sesame buns, baby pig buns, and a couple of others and *everything* was delicious. Good, not overly fast, service, and a lovely building.

Birks is a bit hidden in its location at the bottom of an office tower by the freeway, but its always busy because its a convenient place for the steakhouse crowd to power-lunch. Service and food are good, but not stellar. Pricing is kind of expense-account leve

Ive eaten at Ginger Cafe at least 12 times. Each time I am impressed by the quality, variety and tastiness of the food. The waitstaff is helpful and prompt. The mixed drinks are good. And the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant.

3 for food 5 for service and ambience Tried the dimsum sampler and it was decent. It was a bit on the oily side and there are nothing special to it. However the price was good and the restaurant is pretty neat/clean.

Slightly Americanized Chinese food that is fast and in a bright setting. Everything was a bit sweeter than what youd find at a very traditional Chinese restaurant, but still pretty authentic. Slightly overpriced.

The food here was good, and I was happy that they had some soy-based options for vegetarians. The prices were a bit high though, and you have to pay extra for a side of white rice, which seemed strange.

Great Adrian fusion food with large portions! They have a bunch of dim sum options and a large variety of veggie dishes too! I gave 4/5 stars because sometimes the food is slightly on the saltier side.

Really amazed by the quality of the food here. Wish the main dishes came with more veggies but it was so good its easy enough to overlook that. Highly recommend the Sesame vegetarian chicken.

Great place for a date. The food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable for the ambiance. The service is friendly and fast. We did not have to wait for a table. There is a full bar.

Took 30 mins to get appetizers & 1 hour to get meals even though restaurant was only half full. Food tastes just like Panda Express - wished I went there instead to save 90 mins & $30!

More white washed Chinese place. But I enjoyed their food and friendly services during one of my business trips to San Jose/Sunnyvale area. Nice ambience. Good food. Great service.

Taste is so-so, potatoe beef is good. Serving size is big and I fully recommend family dinning. Ordered 3 dishes enough for 4pax. Worth visiting.

Somewhat limited selection, but very nice atmosphere and relatively small. If you want your ears blasted out, try PF Changs across the street.

Tasty food, good service, large portions. Enjoyed crispy tofu, mango chicken, wonton soup, and shrimp fried rice. A bit salty for our taste.

Nice place for a kind of fusion cuisine. Definitely try the soft shell crab salad. Happy hour specials arent bad either.

Pricey, but the food was superb. Place was half empty on a Saturday night, great for date nights.

Good fusion food. I find a better value elsewhere in this heavily Asian cuisine area though.
