I was very excited to come try out this restaurant after reading about it on Yelps! top picks for 2015. After living in Italy for three years this is by far the closest thing to Italian coffee I have found since returning to the states. I also loved how the menu is both in Italian and English. Even the décor brought me back to on of my favorite cafes in Italy. Oh, and the pastries were also amazing! The only knock I have is that I feel they should open earlier and sell the various brioche and other pastries Italy is so famous for. We came on morning at 8:30 only to find out they open at 9am. It was just a little strange to me. But, I still cant wait to come back and partake in a wine tasting or even a cooking class!

Cakes and pastries that live up to what Europeans are used to are very hard to find in SoCal. This place is an exception. Expect mostly an Italian variety of pastries and cakes. They now also serve soups and paninis as well as gelato. Nice place to sit, very clean, great service, but unexpectedly mediocre hot-chocolate. Expect to pay a pretty penny. Edibles are 4 stars, but the high price might drop this down to a 3 star experience for many.

This place is amazing! Love finding spots that make unique items.Its a tiny shop but its quick and easy to purchase items when on the go.Since it was my first time I just ordered the original.Powdery, flossy, very lightly sweetened cotton candy texture on the outside and a peanut, sesame seed, and coconut mixture on the inside.To die for!! Definitely going back to try the other flavors and to get an order of the mocha.

Excellent, exceptional, unique!!! There is no other place like this one in Los Angels County!!! Authentic Italian food, uncompromised! It doesnt hurt that some of the staff members (and the owners) are good looking young guys with THAT special Italian flair and charm!!! I travel for food and I do go there at least once a month from the Pasadina area! its totally worth the drive! :-)

Beautiful cakes come in different sizes depending on the number of people you want to feed. The pistachio semi freddo cake was absolutely delicious. The staff wrote a nice birthday message on a piece of white chocolate and kept it in the freezer until we were ready to pick it up. It was perfect to eat after defrosting 30 to 60 minutes.

The place is really clean and good food. Pastries are top of the line. The only thing is that sandwiches are a little pricy for what you get. I had a procciuto sandwish which had lettuce inside and the salad had the same lettuce. I thought it was unbalanced. To me as a good food conoisseur I would prefer two different salads

The pastries were some of the best Ive ever tried, the coffee is authentic and robust, and the food (sandwiches, beef) is some of the best Ive ever tried. The staff was super welcoming and kind. I enjoyed every single dessert, especially the Torta della Nona! I cant explain in word how great my experience was!

My boyfriend took me here to surprise me with an affogato and it came out with the coolest presentation Ive seen. It was also delicious and I did end up wanting other pastries. The environment is a little more sterile and less vibey but it was still a great place! I will come back again.

Amazing pastries, amazing staff. We arrived a couple minutes after the store was closed and the gentleman working last night still was happy to take care of us, and gave us an unforgettable experience. We look forward to coming back often - thank you for the wonderful food :)

Excellent Italian pastries and a good breakfast. But go for the pastries. If you love Frittelle (cream puffs), which my Italian grandmother use to make, theirs are one step beyond. The service is also friendly and welcoming. You do pay for quality, but well worth the cost.

I took my friend here for her birthday, and we just had the best time! Damiano and Massimiliano are the absolute best, and the staff are so sweet and helpful. And the desserts! The desserts are as amazing as the people :)

Delicious pastries, a nice place for lunch. The one down side is the noise level, the place is nothing but hard surfaces and it can be really hard to have a conversation without shouting.
