Question: Can you make a generic donut better without making it a gourmet donut? Rolling Pin: Heck yeah you can!! Rolling Pin has always been my familys go-to "midnight" snack after a night of board games and/or parties. Rollings Pins is also one of few places open after 9/10pm. Theres something about Rolling Pin that makes their donuts irresistible and its not because of the care they put into every donut or is it? Its sweet, its delicious, and when you get it fresh it warms up your stomach, and with a nice glass of milk it makes you feel as though time has stopped for a few seconds. They do have more than donuts, they also have cronuts (croissant donuts) which were okay, nothing special, and croissants. Their ham and cheese croissants have been fluctuating in filling. There was one time their bread to filling ratio was very uneven where I did question the integrity of this beloved establishment. The last time I visited which was (July 2017) their croissants were golden again!! Pricing is around a dollar each donut where the croissants are $3-$4. Worth the price!! Rolling Pin is THE place for late night munchies and a staple of Camarillo.

Im a huge fan of Rolling Pin Donuts, but my personal favorite is chocolate glazed. Why? Because theyre fully glazed like Krispy Crème, but 3x as fluffy. Add that layer of chocolate on top and its like biting into the Camarillo equivalent of New Orleans beignets. Their cinnamon rolls are huge, light, gooey and way inexpensive for how good they taste. My son is a huge fan of their pink and white sprinkled glazed donuts (but not the blue - he says the glaze tastes like mint). From a practical standpoint, I also love that Rolling Pin donuts will keep for a couple of days, so when my eyes are bigger than my stomach and I order 3 or 4, I can hold out and savor them instead of eating them all in 1 day. :) And last but not least, Im a big fan of their hours: 6pm until they sell out - which is usually about 9am - perfect for late night dessert cravings - because donuts are absolutely a dessert. *coughs*

Hi everyone, I want to invite everyone to visit us at Rolling Pin Donuts. I believe I am the same guy that said what the other reviewer coment about a month ago!! My apologies to you and your family. Im so sorry that I cannot provide service during CLOSED Business Hours (2 PM to 7 PM), the reason I couldnt help you was simple, some donuts need to be held on a screen and watched for a period of 50 seconds while is being fried off on each side. Im not willing to risk 3 dozen donuts in the fryer. Then, I cant be touching money and the donuts you are about to eat at the same time. My cashier comes in at 6 PM WHEN WE ARE READY FOR BUSINESS. Imagine 10 more people showing up, what would you do? Now there are some times when we can do both, and still we may ask you to wait a couple times because there is something in the fryer.

Face it - what else are you going to do past 8pm in Camarillo? Rolling pin is in establishment and institution for all those who live in Camarillo. Their donuts are made fresh every evening, and the place always has a decently sized line....and its ALWAYS worth it. If youve never enjoyed a hot, fresh doughnut while being in a slightly-intoxicated state when the bars close (while being safely driven or Ubered to the location!!!!! Dont drink and drive folks), then youve truly missed out on one of the special experiences Camarillo has to offer.

This place is very popular especially during the evening hours. There are lots of high school and college use that line up 10 to 20 people deep to try their donuts. The donuts are actually very good and fresh. When they sell out for the day they close and open at 6 p.m. after there is some fresh goods. I noticed that they bake throughout the day so the chances of getting a stale doughnuts are slim to none.

The Best Donuts In SoCal! Believe me when I say, Im a very picky donut guy. Their Chocolate covered, glazed, and cinnamon rolls simply can not be beat. Its a tiny place with a huge heart. Each time i visit I leave envious of the satisfaction on the faces of those that work there! Go see for yourself! Enjoy!

One of the only spots in Camarillo open past 10pm. My personal favorite is also one of the most popular: chocolate donut filled with chocolate ganache, and topped with chocolate chips... Its a "Death by Chocolate" donut. I suggest stopping by CVS to purchase some cavity fighting toothpaste as well.

Hands down best donuts Ive had and they are always fresh. Best time to go is in the morning when they arent that packed and they can get you going on your way. The cashiers are very friendly and helpful when I didnt know what to get. Recommend this to anyone who wants to have good donuts locally.

I found rolling pin doughnuts to be the best in town. Compared to fostar family doughnuts, these doughnut should be worth about a million dollars apiece. Considering the hours, this facility deserves a lot of credit for keeping it stocked and running for this long. Best doughnuts ever!!!

Some of the best doughnuts in the Southern California, expect long lines late night and early morning as these are the best times to go. Ask to try a doughnut they just made, it will be one of the best youve ever had! Other notables (Maple bar, chocolate glazed, ham & cheese croissant)

The best donuts in town. Big downside is incredibly inconsistent quality of service. Some nights the people that work here can be impatient and condescending. Other times its perfectly friendly and welcoming. Hopefully their hiring practices improve because their food is tasty.

A Camarillo staple - fresh donuts made every late evening and early morning. The staff is usually personable and friendly, and their prices arent extravagant. If youre going on the weekend or on Friday nights, expect huge lines - up to 30 minutes or more.

Best donuts but......the guy that works there couldnt help us today. He said, "i cant work the window and make donuts". I guess hes just the employee. Sad day for Rolling Pin. I hope the owner reads these and fires this guy. Very rude.

I have always loved coming here. I raised my children on Rolling Pun Donuts. The best memories are of them watching the guys make the donuts through their windows and then buying the fresh donuts out of the hot grease. Go Rolling Pin!!

Open 22 hours a day; this place is awesome! Its fun to just watch them make donuts. I had a cream cheese strudel bar: light, flaky, and subtle, plus cinnamon and sugary! Everything is fresh and the guys are friendly.
