The Good Guy

i didnt get the ribs so i had to settle. i ended up getting hot links and chicken , mac and cheese and greens. Chicken was good hot links where cut up into bites im not sure why but boy was it spicy i knew i was going to regret it later but boy do i love spicy/hot links. The BBQ chicken was ok do to my carry home transport most of the sauce got flown around but good. Greens had a sweet taste too them couldnt pinpoint the flavor im not big on greens so it was good to me. The macaroni and cheese not to sure how to go about it seeing it was covered in BBQ sauce ( my error) so i didnt get a good solid taste but it seemed to be 1 cheese made in a pot not like the old pan black folk like with more than 1 cheese, the kind of cheese that makes you want to renew the gym membership. I know most places dont sell it like that but it would go a long way for baked verses pot mac&cheese. I also got cornbread which seemed store bought so it was more like a muffin :/ . Now for the portion and price i think i paid $15 for the meal it was enough seeing as i did fall asleep with BBQ sauce on my fingers i say it was pretty well.

I went to a party that was catered by Randolphs. My friend is a very fussy black man and I knew he put a lot of thought into what he ordered. The most important factor was that the meat was wood smoked, not just some charcoal barbecue stuff. I tried a couple different sausages, the hot ones being my fave, chicken, and pork ribs. The red beans and rice were so delicious, I could have just had that for with some sausage for my meal. The greens were very good too. Also a meal in itself because it had so much ham hock. I definitely recommend the catering service, it was a big hit! They had a ton of food there, and I didnt think there was any way we would eat it all, but when I went back for round 2 for a drunkin snack, all the ribs were gone!

Very good food thats coming out that hole in the wall. The ribs, the greens and the corn bread is delicious. Good prices and service from the gentleman behind the counter. Wish i wouldve found out about this place sooner. We need more businesses like this in the hood. Not all those corporate joints that just keep flooding the city. Good job Randolph!!

I ate at this place more than three times. The food is tasty! But my reason for three stars. Is his plates are Not worth $15. Or whatever your total! I will not go back! Cuz he did not try to work with me when I complained about my shortage of Meat! Customer is always right in the business world! Work with them not against them.

Food is horrible. Dont waste your money. Mac and cheese was about 4 days old. Smelled looked and taste really really nasty. BBQ sliced beef wasnt fresh either and was drenched in a super sweet bbq sauce. Couldnt even taste the meat. All sweet sauce. Sauce was nasty also. They have to know their food is horrible. HORRIBLE

I enjoyed the slab of ribs with the sauce on the side, It was smoked perfectly and it was delicious, Service was quick and very very nice,the best Ive had in years,I live 17 miles away, I will definitely go back as well as tell my friends. Loved it.Good cooks,Good food and Good service

My greens taste like vinegar. My yams taste like oranges. The one star is for the tenderness of the meat. Excluding the tenderness of the ribs...they were mediocre. I didnt care for the taste of the sauce & the meat was bland. The worker was a little too blunt & a bit rude.

Food was microwaved I literally saw the owner microwaving our food after we already paid for it. Needless to say the food was trash and we put it were it belonged.
