One of the few survivors of the genre food boom of the 1970s, Three Flames has been doing the same thing for a loooooooooong time. Ive been coming here since I was small enough to be on the menu. It used to be great, but now... Its not great, its not bad, its just... It breaks my heart, but the mighty have fallen. Foods fine, but the world has changed. Parking is easy, which makes me happy, but alas, the live chicken place seems to have succumbed to the same health code changes that dinged Three Flames. Get the sesame buns, theyre magical. #FallForLA

Impressive little place - and I do mean little. Only 7 tables. The selection is limited but the vegetables are fresh - the meat is frozen (this is good) - and the sauces are excellent. The cooking is as good as any Mongolian BBQ. The single bowl price of $13.95 seemed a little high but the portion size was bigger than most so I would call it a reasonable value. For $ 19.95 they offer AYCE. Shrimp is $6.95 extra for either option. Not the best Mongolian BBQ Ive been to but still pretty good. I would return.

I love the food here. The service is great, although it can be a bit difficult to figure out immediately how to navigate the restaurant. Pick a meat, get in line, pick your vegies, pick your noodles (if you want any, i dont usually choose the noodles), hand the food to the cook. The owner is a great woman, helped my wife out once by helping her avoid some broken glass near her car. Everything is seared on a high heat, so picking the noodles with your hands wont matter.

It looked really dirty and cheap. They had the worst disgusting plates that looked like they grabbed them from their own house, the lady picked up the noodles with her hands, and she yelled at me for grabbing too much meat. She insulted me by calling me greedy and said I cant take my food home for grabbing too much meat.

The best Three Flames Mongolian BBQ is the best I have ever had. The staff is great. The owner (when shes at the restaurant) explains how to put your meal together. Its clean eating. Lots to choose from. Close to LAX. People all over the world, besides locals come to this restaurant.

推荐这家店,很好吃,老板是能干的台湾女人,一家店经营了好几十年是有成功的道理的。东西偏贵了点。人均在20左右。

I love trying local small businesses. I also love Mongolian BBQ, but 3 Flames is very disappointing. It cost $30 for lunch for 2. The service was slow and the staff seemed very unorganized and scattered. The food wasnt bad but over-priced and very slow!

Just minutes east of LAX, I have been coming here since 1975! Great healthy food and selection. The owner is wonderful and a pleasure as is the rest of the staff. Now for the less hearty eaters there is a one pass dinner option to save money.

The food itself is tasty as far as it goes, but it is the most expensive Mongolian BBQ place I have ever been. $14 for dinner 1 trip. $2 extra for rice. $1 extra for noodles... $20 for a buffet. Wtf!

Very friendly service. Great selection. Typical Mongolian BBQ fare. The area is a bit questionable but dont let that stop you checking it out. Parking can be tough.
