Worst pho Ive had in the tri valley area. I ordered their dac biet, "the special" and it was nowhere near that. Pho is such a simple dish thats really hard to mess up but they did. The tendons were huge chunks and hard versus thinly sliced/smaller and very tender. The rare beef was also not a very choice cut and hard. If thats the special, no thanks in trying their other options. Im Vietnamese so Ive eaten plenty of pho in my life and this place is pretty bad. The egg rolls were definitely not traditional with the pork and glass noodles. It was some cabbage peppery concoction that Ive never had in any other pho place. Lastly, I had an upset stomach all day afterwards so theres something going on over there in the kitchen....

Saigon Cafe has been around for a long time and the locals seem to love the food here! As do I, but I gave them 4☆s due to the uncleanliness of the place. The walls need a good scrubbing and maybe mop the floors. They have good clientele and if they were to just clean the place and get rid of the old mold smell, then Im sure they will get a five star rating. also the food is really good here! :)

had lunch today at Saigon and the place was dirtier than ever. Food on the wall and even complained and the waitress didnt say anything. The bathroom was also very dirty, so much that I kind of lost my appetite for lunch. My husband and I are not planning to go back there anymore. Doris

Always fantastic food! I have never once had a bad meal here, and the lady who waits the tables is always quick, but willing to chat for a second (unless its incredibly busy). The restaurant does get overwhelmed sometimes, especially with take out order and during college holidays.

Really yummy Vietnamese experience for the family and a local favorite. They are clean and have nice service. Pretty close to downtown, so parking can be hard. Sometimes it gets pretty crowded and they usually only have two waitresses on the floor.

Solid Vietnamese food all around, and their Korean and Thai dishes are good too. There are a few options around Livermore that beat it on taste, but Saigon undercuts them on price and gives you much larger portions, which is why its my go-to.

Excellent food and huge portions. Pho is good but I also recommend the vegetarian Spicy Noodle...not too spicy but full of flavor, tofu and veg. The place could use a good cleaning but its not bad and has a friendly atmosphere.

Great tasting soups with huge portions! The place has a homey feel despite feeling a little worn down. However, I enjoyed the astectics and the food was excellent.
