Best Clam Chowder EVER!!! They use whole clams in the shell and each bowl is made to order. The crab cakes are great. The calamari is cripsy and not greasy and the mustard sauce drizzled over the top is perfect. They do an amazing job with breakfast as well. The olallieberry blintzes are to die for. The crab benedict is unmatched by anyone, anywhere. The Swedish pancakes with the olallieberry syrup. The staff is super friendly and accommodating.

The staff is friendly and helpful and the bar food was good. The room near the end of the building we stayed in had the refrigerator and coffee maker in the bathroom...unsanitary. Burns in the carpet are an eyesore. The screen door was broken (for those that enjoy listening to ocean sounds all night) Trees block a good portion of your view, make sure you ask for a room in the middle for a better view.

I recently stayed at the Inn and everything was just perfect until there was an issue with a guest in a room close to mine. I went and talked with a staff member at the front desk and, without hesitation they gave me a new room. The Little River is "Over The TOP" in every way possible. I will continue to stay their whenever I travel to the Mendocino area. Thank you for a wonderful vacation:)

Friendly. The hors doeuvres were wonderful! Then we had the entree and, between my girlfriend and I, we were astonished at the taste and quality! Not done. Skip the latte - youll regret it, but go ahead. The bread pudding and crem brulee were the best tasting dessert Ive EVER HAD! Im not too sheltered, but THE BEST. I RECOMMEND, RECOMMEND, RECOMMEND.

Wonderful food, great service, and a very nice setting. They even had a Night Fish appetizer, something you will only find on the North Coast of Ca. We also stayed in one of their rooms with a180 degree view of the Pacific Ocean and a wood burning fireplace; it was perfect.

Been coming here for 6 years. We love it. View of ocean perfect. Sit in rocking chair most of the day and talk with friends and look at ocean. Rooms 219 and 220 have the best views. Food is great, Ben in room service is so nice, love him. New yarn shop is great too

Great little gem. Fantastic food, excellent service. We sat in the bar by the door and enjoyed the view and ocean breeze. Salmon, eggplant and Dover were all fantastic meals. Calamari is an excellent starter also. We will be back.

Chef Marc Dym puts out some really good food here. Their crab cakes, in particular, are stellar. Go at sunset, sit at the bar, and enjoy the view!
