This was, by far, the worst service I have ever had at a restaurant. My boyfriend and I were camping at nearby Salt Point State Park, and we were recommended this place as the only thing nearby (and it was - the area is pretty remote). The menu for the actual restaurant was extremely pricey, so we grabbed one of the tables in the bar area and decided to order off of the less expensive bar menu. Twenty minutes went by, and no one came by to take a drink order, even though there were other people around us who were being served. We got the feeling we were being ignored on purpose because there were a number of bar and wait staff with free time and no one came to check on us. We were camping, so we did not look as fancy as the other guests, but we were not dressed inappropriately. I guess they took one look at us and figured that we were not worth their time, which is a shame since the restaurant was practically empty on a Saturday night and there were plenty of staff hanging around with not much to do. I finally had enough and went over to the bar to place our order. The woman behind the bar took her time before coming over to me, then made me wait for another few minutes until she found a pad and pencil with which she could take down our order. When she finally came over to us to bring drinks and silverware (my boyfriend ordered water), she brought over ONE glass of water in the tiniest whiskey glass I have ever seen and did not refill it the rest of the night. The food was ok, not great (he got a burger and I got a crabcake) but it came within a reasonable time. I guess they wanted to get us out of there. I used to wait tables, so I know what the expected level of service is and I know that you treat a paying customer with respect and quality service regardless of the way they are dressed. This was far below it, and pointedly rude. I really hope that it is not the policy of this establishment to be pointedly rude and unwelcoming to people who look like they make less than six figures, but if it is, then they deserve what they get if they dont make it through these difficult economic times.

My Fabulous Wife & I have been here twice now, and both times the experience has been absolutely Epic! The atmosphere here is relaxed, yet elegant. The menu selections are creative and very well prepared. The prices are quite reasonable for this type of cusine. If youre looking for a relaxing North Coast experience, far away from the crowds, do yourself a BIG favor, and plan an excursion out to the Coastal Kitchen @ The Timber Cove Inn - you will NOT regret it. Finish your visit with a final beverage sitting in front of the big stone fireplace in the hotel lobby - a Magical way to wind up your visit ⭐ We cant WAIT for our next visit!!!

Drawn in by the odd totem pole perched on the coast we didnt know what to expect from the resort restaurant, but from the first look at he menu its obvious that a quality chef runs the kitchen here. We had a bakery basket as the duck confit omelet and they were INCREDIBLE. The coffee and teas were also quality and the prices are shockingly low for what youre getting. Set all of that perched on a cliff view of the bay with friendly service and you have a 5 star winner.

This place needs Gordon Ramsay! Such a gorgeous location is wasted on a poor menu that is poorly presented. Wait staff is poorly trained and apparently have had no previous food service experience. Hotel itself is dungeonlike. This could be a destination under the proper management.

Divine food, great selection of local beers, impressive wine list, desserts to die for. Service was attentive, but not overbearing. Was there with non-foodies and even they were in heaven. Not one thing was wrong with my place: Braised Lamb Shank.
