I had very high expectations when I came here for a meal with my family. We ordered the paneer masala, fish Kathi roll, pav bhaji and samosa tacos. First of all, let me say this. This place is pricey as hell. Secondly, there was NO MASALA in anything! The pav bhaji was the only thing we could eat as it had some flavour but the other dishes lacked any kind of Indian flavour. I was not expecting it to be spicy as Im sure this place caters to people with all tolerances of spice. However, if they had put in that much attention to their flavors as they did in their mise-en-scene and their innovative menu, this place would be a big time hit.

Went in for dinner last night. What an experience , every plate presented and tasted better than the last. Had the pleasure of meeting the chef too. And the service was wonderful. Not the average cheap Indian restaurant , so not $10 for a pile of over cooked food or the same menu as every place. But what they are doing here is making Indian food exciting and putting them on the map. DELICIOUS, BEAUTIFUL AND SEXY.... also a great local craft beer selection.

This was one of the worst restaurant ever I had been to and the food is not upto the price. I had vada pav which was too bland in taste, just a mixture of mashed potatoes and salt. Then we had paneer tikka, we told them to make it spicy, and when we had it I almost puked, they had put so much of black pepper in it. I mean who puts black pepper on paneer?? The service was good, but food was too bad.. never going to go again to this restaurant.

We came for an office lunch a couple of weeks back. It was a real treat to enjoy authentic high quality Indian food in a beautiful space. We will definitely return over and over again. I agree with a previous reviewer in that better signage might help draw attention to the place. I love opentable and often only go to places listed there. Might be worth the cost for them to join them.

The least rating option is 1 star.. if given an option, I would have given zero rating. Food taste and quantity sucks big time. Money you spent is for food presentation not for taste and quantity; dude, I can watch master chef to see the food presentation. 8 bucks of chat gives you tasteless 4 small puris with mashed potatoes. And who puts non eatable items in appetizers.

Lovely decor. Its brand new and much needed Indian restaurant in San Diego. The chef is so friendly and has great visions for the restaurant. We enjoyed many dishes including Pav bhaji, kathi rolls, samosa tacos. Food was delicious and well plated. The menu is creative and offers a wide selection of fusion Indian cuisine. Highly recommend it. We will be back for more!

This was my first experience in Indian Street food, and it was a great one. Masala Street is an upscale place (which means prices are a but high, of course), with a nice decor. We had the Samosa Tacos and they were fabulous! We shared a couple of other dishes that were very good as well, but the tacos stole the show.

What a wonderful experience. My husband and I were given a recommendation for what to order. Our food arrived in what is known as "Indian Lunch Boxes". What a presentation. The food was outstanding, the service was fantastic and the ambiance was comfortable and clean. We highly recommend Saransh Oberois restaurant.

Great food, a little too much on the fancy-shmansy side than Id prefer but still good. There are a few traditional things I expect at an Indian restaurant that they didnt have which was kind of a bummer. But what we did eat was good.

Best Indian food Ive had in all of San Diego. The Chicken Malai is just awesome. Their Lamb Briyani is also a favourite of mine. But pick whatever you want and youll fall in love with the place. True taste of Bombay in their dishes.

Nice Indian restaurant. Definitely will recommend. We went for a holiday team lunch, everyone liked the food. Parking is available but you should call the restaurant, they will guide you. Good Veg and non-veg options available.

Service is awesome! Great unique feel for an Indian restaurant. Great change from the beaten track of standard Indian restaurants. The veggie menu could take an upgrade which is why I took off a star

Looks, presentation and service is excellent! More masala presented on the table and very less in the meals. Innovative menu but tasteless food. Parking is difficult to find. Never going there again.

Kaathi roll is great. Kursi chat is literally that...4 prices of paladi on small chairs..See the picture. Abs you dont get to keep the kursis/chairs. Its not worth the price, to be honest.
