The burgers are good, the tri-tip not so much. They like to make a big deal they are from Santa Barbara, so there is no excuse for tough tri-tip. I dont think there was one time it wasnt simulating boiled shoe leather Aside from the tri-tip, Id like to have the burgers more often. But they need more tables or better control of the inconsiderate dolts that take a table for four when their group is two people AND there are many available two seat tables. Send someone out Chick-fil-A style to encourage people to move along. If you want to go, your customer experience will be much better if you arrive before 11:30 or wait until a bit after 12:30. By then it starts to clear out and you wont have to stand on the tiny lawn to eat.

Richard the manager is the best manager I have ever came across. I went in to get a Santa Barbra Cobb yesterday and they forgot my avocado which made me a bit sad but I was not at all mad. Today I went in and ordered another one then just made sure that I order the correct salad because yesterday it did not come with avocado. When I got to the window Richard told me it was on the house. I wasnt upset at all and tried to pay, but the fact that they truly care about their customers is amazing. RICHARD DESERVES A RAISE FOR HIS EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I dont know.. First visit I was disappointed. I honestly dont remember why, its been a while. I almost always give places a 2nd chance. 2nd visit was amazing! Best burger Ive had in a long time, even better than Five Guys and In and Out. I gave Habit a 3rd try today, and the burger was cold. Cold patty combined with cold lettuce and tomato was extremely unappealing. I wanted to like this place, but its just too inconsistent. Im done.. Never again.

My husband is a burger lover and we both love going to the Habit. You can see how popular it is when you arrive. FOOD is excellent. My only concern is the design of the drive in and the interior. The inside is not large enough to accommodate the extensively large lines, nor is the drive thru outside. The drive thrus crazy route through the shopping centers parking lot is incredibly dangerous. Other than that I would have given 5 stars.

Service was bad today . food was all wrong and then they let our fries get cold. So went back to get American fries and went to eat my tri tip sandwich and no extra grilled onions. So went back for a 3rd time. My sandwich was so cold by the time I got it . I did not eat my $9 meal Very upset.

The habit is a true staple of Orange County and for all burger enthusiasts in the area. This branch sure does carry on the spirit and the consistent quality that has helped this franchise to take off. Food is amazing, prices are right, and the taste is spectacular. What more can be said?

Price was awesome, fair and reasonable. Service was above average and food was just ok. In and out is by far better. Location was very busy at 1:30 in the afternoon (impressive). Atmosphere was very good cleanliness was better than most. Taste and quality are the most important.

Ive had a couple of the menu items, and everything Ive eaten has been satisfying. They have yummy lemonades and the salads are actually pretty filling. My personal fave is the Santa Fe burger which looks more like a sandwich, but its delicious nonetheless

Habit is my preferred place for getting a burger. Love their onion rings too. My only strike against them is they heavily salt their grilled onions they put on the burger. I love salt like every other person but this is clearly too much of a good thing.

Best burger around. Nothing beats the original in Goleta as each new location is slightly watered down compared to the original, but its still the best burger (when talking about fast ish food). Dont try comparing to in n out, its apples and oranges.

Way too expensive for what you get. I ordered a #1 combo with cheese(a tiny burger). The meat didnt have any flavor and the fries tasted like theyve been out for a while and werent cooked thoroughly. The strawberry limemade was way too sweet too.

The indoor environment is clean and beautifully designed, the food quality is really good. A bit expensive when it comes to drinks and fries which is an extra $4.50 also the vibrator for when the order is ready is a smart move

It deserves stars but parking is not easy. Small parking lot and no street parking nearby. However, food is fresh and delicious. I had the chicken teriyaki and fried shrimp combo for $7.00. What a bargain! I will be back!

OMG i love the habit! Get the chicken club its the best. This location tends to get a little crowded during lunch hours so try to avoid it unless you want to be stuck for a long time trying to get out the parking! YIKES!

Worst salad ever. I have been here for various food items and they always do it right. Today I got a Cesar salad still with picked off chicken on it,wilted lettuce like its been sitting awhile and raw tuna.

Place is fast and staff is always very nice and helpful. Typical Habit setup inside for drinks and condiments. Runs a little on the cold side inside, may need a jacket for kids.

Char grilled burgers, fries and onion rings are what theyre known for here. In-n-out is still the best, but this may be worth a try if you want to explore something new.
