It was ok. Just ok. Drove from Sacramento an hour to have ok Mexican food. The salsa was the hit of the meal but the chips were barely warm, soaked in grease and pretty blah. I had an ala carte carne asada Taco, cheese enchilada and bean tostada. Came to $12. The taco shell with saturated with grease and the carne asada wasnt very well drained. It fell apart as soon as I picked it up. I ordered the red sauce for the enchilada but it wasnt your standard enchilada sauce. It was some sort of a homemade sauce that really was not very good. The enchilada would have been better had it had a different sauce. The tostada was okay. At least a tortilla was crisp and not soaked in Greece. There was very little toppings on the tostada for $12 I would have expected more.

Me and my wife are in wheelchairs and need a bigger table. We asked to be seated in the large round table and they told us theyre saving it for a bigger party. Im with my wife and my parents so its 4 of us. As were eating we notice they gave that table to 2 adults who have 2 babies. The place wasnt full at all I dont understand why we couldnt get that table. I was wondering if it was because my mom and wife are Hispanic because everyone in there was white including the waiters. The food was alright.

The food is wonderful as is the service. Everything is made fresh on site each morning. The restrooms are clean, and the food is made to order. The pricing is appropriate. The menu has quite a nice variety of items to choose from, including Ala Carte, and full meals includes rice & beans. The lunch menu is cheaper than the dinner menu, as the portions are smaller for lunch. The best homemade tamales Ive ever had in my life!

Very friendly staff, our food was deliscious. Ordered the Luis Favorite plate and super carnitas burrito with green sauce and gravy on top. It all stuffed us and we couldnt finish our plates. The server, before we could ask, offered to give us boxes to pack everything, even the chips and salsa, he topped off the salsa cup which I thought was pretty nice. We are ordering delivery this time. Its our new favorite place to eat.

Good food. We had to wait a bit because we went at 12 p.m. There was a line to get in. The servers work really hard to make sure you are happy. The restaurant is one of only a handful in Ione. Its a nice lunch or dinner. The do have breakfast items as well.

Average food and friendly staff, but most often food takes longer than it should to come out. Tacos and burritos are stuffed but everything else small. Doesnt compare with her sisters restaurant in Stockton.

Prompt service, meals came very quickly. All three plates were tasty. If the tortilla chips had included flour chips, we would give it 5 stars. We will be back, and soon.
