Lots to explain if you havent been here yet, but lets start with one compliment and two complaints. Overall the food is great, everything we ordered was delicious and adhered well to the southern home cooking theme. On the down side, the ordering process needs a lot of improvement. The orders are placed on an iPad menu on the table, which sounds nice but in practice is tedious and impractical. There were 9 of us, and it took 25 minutes to order, no exaggeration. The software had some glitches which slowed us down even more, and it didnt show the unavailability of three items we ordered. Worse was having to go through a similar process to pay. Same tedious process. Whats worse, the system messed up the credit card payments and took a lot of work to unravel. I left 20 min ago and my friends are still there sorting it out. This system is broken and needs attention now. The other thing to note... the prices here are ridiculous. I mean borderline insulting. Im used to high prices near the beach but this is on another level. $11 for a can of Sculpin beer (a 12oz can) and $15 for bite sized appetizers. Nothing about this place justifies the prices. Sorry but I would suggest waiting until they iron out the kinks here.

Great Food and Staff...one jerk employee wont stop me from enjoying one of OCs best new places. As for the negative reviews, most of those reviews are fabrications by people who cant even afford the soup on the menu. Go sport your attitudes where you feel more comfortable. The most amazing one was by the person claiming to be a matriarch of a family who spends $800 bucks a week with her large family, too funny. Like most of us, those who can afford to wait there, rarely waste time bombarding a new business who pays taxes, hires people and adds value. Whereas many of these negative quotes are by lazy, do nothings who are sponges on social programs there familys live on. Go get a job!!!! Better yet, start a business, add value, employee people you embarrassments to all things good.

The service was AWESOME. Everyone was attentive and in good spirits. I do agree, the prices were a bit over the top. $15.00 for a broccoli and cauliflower dish is a bit exorbitant. They do need to work out the kinks with the ordering of wine. Selling by the ounce is for the Flemings of the world. Keep it simple and charge by the glass that way theres no confusion when using the IPad to order; Which by the way, is a good idea. It keeps the service flowing with good customer service of all the waiters/waitresses. Would I go back? Absolutely! Im willing to pay a little more for a pleasant face to greet me when Im hungry. Do they need to work on the price point? Absolutely! Itll keep people coming back for more!

We ordered the "Mac daddy" with no tomatoes because my gf is allergic to them. They brought the sandwich out with tomatoes, understandable mistake. I told the runner to please remake the sandwich bc of her condition. Instead, he brought back the same sandwich with the tomato clearly just taken out. Pieces of the tomato were still visible. Rather than make a scene, she insisted on taking a Benadryl and eating the sandwich. I expressed my frustration with the runner and he shrugged it off saying he just handed it back to the chef and it wasnt his fault. Long story short, the manager came by and took care of our bill. Instead of taking care of the bill I hope they can learn from this and respect peoples health.

If youre looking for a more relaxed, non-Bungalow going crowd, this is your calling. Located directly across from Bungalow, feast your eyes on the ever so casual Saint Marc Pub. Its equipped with ginormous beer pong tables that should have beer in them and a bacon bar. Yes - carnivores, you read that right. Weve popped in on numerous occasions, birthday, Sunday Funday and just because the weather is so freaking nice. What makes me fall in love with this place more is they have Shiner and wine on tap....say wha?!?! The service has been hit or miss, but its definitely not difficult to get a drink around these parts. Stop in, have a drink and maybe make a bold move to play some beer pong.

Most of the people writing reviews here from THE LAST WEEK, are losers who have never been to this restaurant in their life before. Most are from other states and are having a fake outrage over a unverified story going around in the news right now. I have been to this restaurant myself and its great, great food, nice atmosphere and waiters. I am hispanic and you know what? Most of the waiters are hispanic to, maybe the person in the news was a latino, its very possible. Regardless - this is a GREAT PLACE TO EAT AT. ANY review from this week that is less than 3 stars, DONT BELIEVE IT. Its just someone from out of state having a FAKE RAGE over the news story this week.

Seriously good food, fun atmosphere, reasonable prices, and a secret bar! We tried several types of bacon, a cheese platter, the watermelon withfeta and jalapeños, and "eggs and bacon". Every entree was raved about by the one who ordered it. I think one of our party had some sort of spiritual experience with the burger he ordered. And who knew that vanilla ice cream works with bacon and peaches?!?. The staff was gracious and attentive without being overbearing. We are already planning our next trip back. Recommendation: GO!

The worst service Ive ever encountered. Our waiter was unbelievably rude and had us thrown out of the place when my friend complained about his crappy service and dismissive attitude. The bouncer (who has serious anger management issues) knocked a drink out of my husbands hand which immediately ended up in my face. No one at St. Marc apologized or even offered me a towel or napkin until I approached the manager. The worst place imaginable. I will never go back.

Service was absolutely horrible. Went for my birthday and waiter told us everything was fresh. Half of us got our food while the other half waited another 15min for their food. I got the shrimp po something and the shrimp was cold and the bread was hard. Definitly not fresh. This place is definitly overpriced for below average food. The only good thing my table liked was the bacon on the side....and that was it! Never again.

We had bad service. The food was ok, but incredibly over priced. The kids Mac n cheese was missing cheese. It tasted just like white sauce with cheez- its on top. If youre eating healthy, you get to have a salad or a 15$ appetizer of raw vegetables. No one refilled our waters or asked of we wanted more lemonade. The brownie a la mode was dry and with soft serve.

Saw a review online, and was travelling to the area for vacation. Went ahead and drove the half hour from where we were staying, and glad we did. The food and service was beyond amazing. The meatloaf was incredible, and the Bacon by the slice was an Amazing treat we are telling everyone who will listen about! We will return next time we are in the county!

Food was good. Prices were too high. $14.00 for a BLT fries not included. Food does not arrive at the same time...and they are proud to tell you that each entre will arrive as it is ready. So if you enjoy watching others eat while sit....for 10 mins by all means, this is the place for you. As for my husband and I....once was enough.
