Lucky for all the visitors waltzing through downtown Healdsburg on New Years Eve, Noble Folk Pies and Ice Cream was open. Nothing was open: Not the restaurants. Nor the grocery stores. Usually I wouldnt have walked into a ice cream parlor, but many people were going in and out of the well lit white walled boutique with jams, ice cream sauces and awesome reviews posted on the wall. The boutique was grand. The place called Noble Folk. Creative, unique house baked pies combined with homemade ice cream utilizing mint chocolate mousse served in an oreo cookie pie crust. Custard pies with the taste of butterscotch, pecan pies with bourbon, and the most fabulous mixtures for ice cream; Frosted corn flakes with maple syrup and seasonal pumpkin flavors with added chocolate. I felt so lucky finding the place. I immediately told all my friends about the desserts in Nevada. When I fly with them to the Wine Country, I am going to definitely stop in Healdsburg just to introduce them to the tastes of Noble Folk. Between the spectacular Hotel Healdsburgs dining experience at Dry Creek Kitchen and the bakery across the courtyard known as the Bakery and Creamery, dining experiences like Noble Folk are giving drivers a reason to pull over off the highway 101 to enjoy fine foods apart from the wine tasting Wine Country experience. Almond with green tea ice cream and the exotic delicious purple yam delight from Japan, tourists cannot get the taste of Noble Folk ice cream out of their memory.

TWO WORDS: Ice Cream. I will always have room for ice cream. Dont worry about fall and winter season. Ice cream aficionados have a thing for it at any given time. Especially when I make a quick stop at this place. Ill admit, SF has a lot of good ice cream spots, so I never thought an ice cream shop would be this good in wine country. Well, geez...smack me in the head. I was wrong. Someone shove a scoop of ice cream in my mouth please. This place won a piece of my heart. The innovators who thought of Black sesame coconut, English Breakfast tea, Juniper Honey, etc. Everything Ive sampled was by far...so good! I ended up walking out with Black Sesame coconut to continue on with my wine tastings. The lady behind the counter was super generous with the scoops and offered a sample of the pies I wanted to try. For sure, this place is not one to miss nor pass up. Make a quick stop and grab a scoop of their ice cream or take a whole pie home to devour at home. Would I come back? Theres no question about it. I wouldnt say no to ice cream and pie. Theyve gotten a Noble Piece Prize in my book. Ha! Get it? Of course Id come back!

Surreal ice cream and pie experience. We tried basically every flavor of ice cream and instead of rolling their eyes like disgruntled ice cream shop employees typically do, the amazing ladies here were all about our oohs and ahhs. My boyfriend and I settled on the almond cardamon ice cream (VERY difficult life decision). We then had the equally hard decision of choosing a piece of pie. Oh lord, the strawberry balsamic reduction was divine! Did we want that toasted? YES! Would we be willing to wait 3 minutes while they warmed the pie up to perfection? HELL YES! This gave us time to peruse the fun items they were selling in this super hip store front. I then proceeded to have the best ice cream and pie of my life to which my boyfriend said,"I feel like I have to inhale this to keep up with you." My advice? Dont share.

Go for the Ice Cream! These guys do a great job with ice cream, but I suggest skipping the pies and coffee. All the ice creams are very good. The flavors are creative, but they work, without being over the top. They also have the perfect sweet and creamy balance.The black sesame coconut and lemon lavender are our personal faves. The pies are less impressive, being slightly dry and compote-like. Crusts have no dimension. Skip the coffee all-together. The hipster fascination with over-rated coffee roasters in Portland is hard for me to understand. Whenever weve ordered coffee here its been a mistake. The taste is either too acidic or too much like burned rubber.

This was a Charming fun place. Located in the downtown Healdsburg area. I was looking for ice cream and pie. I ended up splitting two different kinds and I must say the crust is wonderful on both. My son had a hibiscus soda float which he said he would get again as well as he felt I would like. I would have given 5 stars but there was a lack of sitting for my elderly grandmother. All in all we will return.

YOU MUST GO HERE IF YOURE IN HEALDSBURG FOR ANY REASON! One of the best ice cream shops Ive EVER been to. I wished I could have brought a tub of Lucky Charms Icecream home with me to San Francisco but I wasnt sure it would survive the drive. And in case youre wondering, yes, its JUST the marshmellows. And its AMAZING. Lots of amazing flavors and small twists on popular favorites.

Noble Folk has superb ice cream. They are always changing their flavors. They have a good selection of toppings. My only problem is they do not put very much of the topping you order on to the ice cream. They also make amazing pie and have an interesting selection of other buyable things like slingshots and Foodie Dice.

Best ice cream in Sonoma County, easily. Flavors are always unique, fresh and never artificial. Even simple flavors like chocolate and vanilla are just the right amount of sweet, creamy and delicious
