My husband and I came here for dinner after a days of wine tasting. The awesome thing about Dry Creek Kitchen is no corkage on Sonoma Wines. We brought in one of our purchases from the days tasting and enjoyed it with our meal (saving us quite a bit). We ordered for our appetizers: Scallops - served in a puff pastry with 2 large scallops. The sauce was a bit salty for me. Risotto with shaved truffles - The risotto was cooked al dente and there was a decent amount of truffles shaved tableside. The waiter came to the table with a small black chest which as 4-5 truffles. She then shaves the truffle tableside on top of the risotto. Mains: DUNGENESS CRAB STUFFED PETRALE SOLE - the sole was a little dry, but overall the dish was unique with the crab. DUROC PORK DUO - both pork pieces tasted very different and complimented each other well. I preferred the crispy belly. We also shared the MUSHROOM SHORT RIB FONDUE - which was nothing spectacular (the dishes come with sides and are large enough that we should have just skipped on this add one) Dessert - peanut butter pie. Good, and worth trying.

The service at this restaurant could not have been worse. There were plenty of wait staff standing around talking to eachother, but for a party of eight it took almost one full hour to get our drinks to the table after being sat immediately upon arrival. The second round of drinks was ordered with dinner and arrived after our meals were served. As we reminded the waiter of our lack of beverages, he seemed very frustrated with us (as if it were our fault). The food was average, I would expect much better from a restaurant of this caliber (very heavy use of salt). I have never taken the time to write a review, but the service was so poor I was determined to share that with others (especially when they charge you a 20% tip for large parties).

Dry Creek Kitchen is definitely nice, no doubt or argument. Is it worth the comical prices? That is up to you or your group. Everything is separate so you will rack up a pretty giant bill with the basics; appys, main course and dessert. I would plan on $75 per person for 3/4 courses. So, here is my beef. Yes, the food is thoughtfully prepared and of good quality. Will you walk away full and satisfied? Maybe, but but not likely. I really did like this place but the prices were at least double what I would expect for food of this quality. I am truly torn because I enjoyed the experience but, damn, the prices are on the crazy side of sanity.

This is, unquestionably, one of the best restaurants in Healdsburg. The atmosphere is elegantly beautiful and the service is impeccable. They have a fantastic wine selection, well-balanced cocktails, and the food is unbelievably delicious. Ive never had even a mediocre dish here; theyve all been exceptional. However, you simply should not go without ordering the kobe beef sliders. Served on brioche buns with arugula, and truffle aioli, they are mind-glowingly good. The sliders are not listed on the menu but they always serve them. Try and, I promise, you will wish you could eat them at every meal.

With a name like Charlie Palmer I was excited for the dinner. We waited 45 mins. past our reservation, we sat at a small table and forgotten about again. We finally had to ask someone to help us and we were never really assigned a server so things came randomly. The food itself was okay but totally not worth the worst service I ever had. The host knew how bad they had screwed up, he chased us outside trying to convince us to come back to the lounge for a drink on them. We had spent more than enough time there and didnt take him up on the offer and wont be returning.

along with Madrona Manor, Healdsburg is privileged to have two world class restaurants. The food at DCK is impeccably prepared and served, the wine availability exceeds anyones needs, and the service of the experienced waiters is absolutely first class. Given its downtown location (walking distance for us), this is our "fallback" for special occasions or for special out-of-town guests.

Hmmmm! I was looking forward to Dry Creek Kitchen....after reading all the other reviews I am stumped....the food was just ok, our server had no knowledge of the wines or the food she was serving and she was also training someone in. Wow! Not the trainer Id want. When working in wine country and you dont even know the dessert wine was a late harvest cab franc not a cab "frank"...

Weve been here several times. Even had our wedding dinner here. The staff and management really care about you experience and the food. Every detail is carefully looked after. They even treat young people with respect as Ive take my child there with me to reward proper take and restaurant etiquette. Its now her favorite place and we go there to celebrate.

Consistently excellent food and service in the heart of Sonoma Countys Russian River/Dry Creek Valleys. Fabulous wine list with many priced reasonably. We had reservations for 8 over a Labor Day weekend; our table was ready when we arrived and we received efficient and professional service during and never felt rushed our dining experience.

Palmer did well with his hotel and restaurant combo. Must say the Chef put his foot in it, with the tasting menu. The experience was fabulous and the food kept up with every lovely description. The staff is very meticulous and attentive. It was a wonderful experience and you get to leave with a token of their appreciation as well.

The wine pairings were perfect, the food was amazing. Best meal I had on my trip. I had the special beet tagliatelle pasta over a creamy goat cheese. It wasnt too heavy. And I couldnt get enough of it. I also had the mushroom soup, super rich and delicious! Highly recommended.

For fine dining and an easy location in downtown Healdsburg, I love this place. Its pricey, but they treat you well and the food is creative, local, and truly delicious. They know Sonoma wines well, too --
