My husband and I ate here with another couple last week and the service was absolutely atrocious. The restaurant was not very busy, but it was as though the waitstaff and the kitchen completely forgot about the dining room. Other diners were also sitting and waiting for a long time, with disappointment on their faces. The starter, a tomato torte, tasted very good and came out pretty promptly. It took about another hour however for our round of main dishes to come out, which seemed absurdly long especially given that the dining room was not busy. And one dish was a fish was absolutely raw in the center (it was not supposed to be- it was not Ahi tuna!). To try to make up for the long wait time, they offered up free desserts- which were not very good at all. And the chefs muse parting chocolate truffles to close the meal tasted like chocolate covered salt balls- they were utterly disgusting. We will NEVER return to this restaurant! The prices are high, the service was utterly atrocious and the food and ambience certainly did not compensate for what the restaurant was lacking.

A recent dinner was deeply disappointing. The service was awful, staff knew nothing about the menu, their response to a question was to read to us what the menu said. A request for a glass of wine with the entree took so long to fill that the entree was finished. When the red wine showed up it was in a white wine glass. We said the wine was no longer required, the staff said keep it any way and two minutes later a different staff brought another glass. The side of potatoes resembled wall paper paste. One of the pasta dishes was cold, another seemed to be microwave fettuccine.. There were many staff in evidence, but service speed was glacial. Most of the staff were very pleasant, except for the gentleman who asked us if we wanted dessert, and when we said no, appeared personally affronted. $14 for several very small carrots is robbery, even if some prosciutto has been added to the dish. The prosciutto added nothing to the concept of the dish. Very limited wine list for Sonoma County. Certainly not an experience 1 wish to repeat.

Hubby and I had a fantastic dinner at Spoonbar the other night; he had the scallops and I had the Butternut squash ravioli. We both shared the roasted Brussels sprouts - perfect fall meal! But the highlight? Shared an app of assorted olives paired with a Hanna Sauvignon Blanc - heaven! The marinate on the olives worked a chemistry on the wine that was incredible. We told our server how much we enjoyed it and lo and behold - here comes the chef Casey Van Voorhis to our table with a container of olives to take home! She spent several minutes chatting with us about food and wine - we were honored. Great meal and great service - well be back!

Terribly disappointed, was excited from the looks of the place, trendy and unique.... Service was less than awful! Challenging to get a drink, then difficult to get a refill! We asked the bar personnel for a recommendation for a pasta place, he basically indicated there was nothing within walking distance, but they had pasta on there menu. After a full day of bicycling, we were all in ! They set us up in the bar, followed by more ignoring (no menus, no freshing up on beverages, no attention!) To give credit where it was due the chef did a good job, the wait staff killed it.... Terrible experience!

I had reservations for dinner on Sunday night, but it seemed unnecessary since the place was empty the most of the night. The space was comfortable; very open, bright, with modern décor. The cocktail menu was a winner with a wide array of creative drinks. My favorite was the ‘jalapeño business’ which was not too sweet nor spicy. Highlights of my meal included the flight of different fish preparations, and the lamb entrée. The fish was fresh and had clean flavors. The lamb was cooked perfectly and well worth it.

Spoon Bar may look like its good, but the drinks and food were disastrous. One of the drinks we ordered tasted like a bar of soap from Bath and Body Works. The food was so bland I cant even begin to describe it. The flatbread tasted stale. The fish was absolutely tasteless. We were told that the restaurant was very busy and the kitchen may have been overwhelmed. I think the kitchen just didnt know where the spices were or how to use them to begin with. We were EXTREMELY disappointed with the entire experience.

Well first of all the build out is first class, open, modern, and welcoming. The hostess was more than meets the eye with an extensive knowledge of the menu and the wine list. Waitstaff professional and very nice. The food is outstanding! I was solo so ordered 2 apps. and some veggies! Beautiful presentation and delicious. Apple Tarte dessert out of this world! Not cheap but well worth it!

We hosted an Afterparty at H2s Spoonbar after our wedding in May 2017. It was superb! Lindsay was great to work with, the layout was well thought out, the food & drink excellent and the service staff very professional. Our guests had a great time and we highly recommend considering Spoonbars Green Room for your private event needs.

Spoonbar is a great spot to start your night in Healdsburg. Their menu is creative and edgy. Portion sizes are on the smaller side- I recommend getting items to share and a few cocktails before heading to dinner at one of the many restaurants in the area. This is on the pricier side, but ingredients are quality!

This is a great, fun joint in downtown Healdsburg. Its kind of our standby if were in town with friends and we dont have reservations anywhere yet. Weve always been able to just walk in and get a table. The place is always busy, but we never seem to have to wait. Anyway, the food is good and the drinks are great.

Very disappointed. Food was overwrought and not well prepared or presented. Service was inconsistent, at times intrusive and then neglectful. Twice werent informed until after ordering that items were unavailable. Only thing I can recommend is the extensive cocktail list. Drinks were fresh and well-balanced.

The food was pretty delicious, a bit on the pricey side though. The service brings down my rating to okay since everyone seemed to be in a rush — not sure if its a permanent condition of the eatery or just happened to be a special instance. I would probably not revisit it next time Im in town.

We were here for a wedding rehearsal dinner. It was more of a reception than a formal dinner. Heavy appetizers were served. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. Before hand I had a "Smoking Old Fashioned" at the bar. Very creative and tasty drink. Overall a great place.

Ive only been here for drinks and appetizers but it is a great spot. Its location is right near the square, and they have these huge accordion doors that open to feel like youre sitting outdoors. They make great cocktails. Perfect to stop in before dinner or after.
